NR/WG Updates Topic

 

To maintain a more consistent stream of new content, Wolfy and I are starting the Nova Refuge and Wulfgard Weekly Update Topics. Every Sunday we will try to post something related to either one or both of the universes. Yes, sometimes there will be a WG update and no NR, and sometimes vice versa - maybe a whole new comic page or story chapter or a preview of an upcoming book, or maybe just a new sketch or a new page on the wiki - but the point is, we will try our best to post something.

 

These weekly updates will be posted as a reply in this thread and the Wulfgard equivalent, and larger updates will also be posted on the respective universe's news blog. You can discuss all of the updates here and/or leave a comment on the blog post, but if there's an appropriate topic elsewhere on the forum (for example, the topic about the comic for comic updates) we would prefer you to use that, and we will try to link to it in the update.

This week's update is simply the first page of the now-underway final chapter of the LEGO comic "The Takeover of Mordark"! I'm gonna finish this thing if it kills me.

Haha, alright, nice!  I'm glad to see that you're still doing this.   This comic was one of the things that attracted to this website and convinced me to make a profile in the first place (to no one great surprise I'm sure. )

You don't want to know how many times I've read this comic. Once its all over, I'll be sure to do it all again. A victory lap of nostalgia.

I've read it a ton of times myself, to keep the characters straight and make sure I tie up all the loose plot ends. Too bad there are so many useless scenes in the series, and one entire useless issue (4: The Great Hunt). Maybe one day I'll make an edited version of the complete series. Anyway... this Sunday's page!

Yep, I've strongly considered it. I'm not entirely clear on the legal issues, but I've seen other independently published LEGO books. I currently have plans to start a fundraiser on my site for the publication of the first Wulfgard novel & comic, and perhaps include publication of a "Takeover of Mordark Complete Revised Edition" as a sort of "stretch goal" for extra funding, if possible. We'll see how it pans out...

It's that time again... This Sunday I posted a Wulfgard comic instead of TTOM, but I may post a TTOM page on Wednesday to make up for it. Synopsis

A high-resolution vector type drawing would be best, but I think I can work with that. Awesome drawing BTW.

I Like this comic so much. I've read it a lot. I read it several times before I signed up on the forums.

 

On another note, I wish you could add Nova Refuge Victorian/Zygbari/Yavakaran/Xarkonian Regulars in the shop Scorp.

I would make some epic battles with that.
