Hello there!

This is just a little poem that suddenly sprouted out of me and I felt like sharing.

Love.
The word is like a dove,
Fleeting in my life, yet ever present.
Yet I do not resent,
How it seems to pass me by
For all I can do is watch as my heart dies,
Slowly.

Yet.
For though I had met
One who I thought was more
I was but a bore.
I fear
That I shall not find one dear.
Hope.

A New Beginning.
That is what I have
Yet how can I save
Myself from this thing
Precious as a Ming
This thing called love?
Like a snake, love has moved
Coiling and clenching my heart.
Yet.

How can this have Happened?
I want it not.
I have fought
Tooth and Claw
Against myself – I broke a law
A law within me
See the consequence?

You who have stolen it.
You cruel one.
What have you done?
I think I can say
However much you may
Disagree
I know now of Love.

A little background about myself and why I wrote the poem above: Once upon a time, I was a young lad. I had a friend of mine who happened to be a girl. Being a guy, I realized (eventually) what a lovely creature she was. My courtship was short lived as one thing led to another and I ended up being alone. It rather scared me and scarred me. I always thought the worst thing would happen if I got involved in any sort of relationship. Two years later, I entered high school and met another lovely creature. This one was different though, and soon I began in earnest attempting to gain her affection or even just her attention. Today I made a move and essentially ran into a wall. Perhaps I'm just blind, (I am a GUY after all :P) but it seemed that there was little hope....Than music and Youtube came to the rescue, and I wrote the above poem. If the last part sounds rather bitter, it's not meant to be. It's meant to show rather how I am enslaved - or my heart is rather....

If you made it this far, thank you; it means a lot. :)

And if it sounds moody and depressing, sorry. I can be like that sometimes.

Lastly, if you have any tips for the above situation, please do tell! ;)

Comments are always welcome and appreciated!

^ Thank you very much! :D

And because you asked so nicely:

Beauty.
Eyes blue as the sky
Yet far above.
Oh my.
Beauty.

Are ye an Angel?
For truthfully
‘Tis easy to tell that you are
One of that heav’nly host.

But can someone be an Angel
And a Star?
For you shimmer and shine like both Angel and Star.
Nothing can mar your beauty.
Not fire
Not ice
Nor the mire
Of the earth.

Bewitched
Am I.
Yet how can I compare or hope to even be noticed by you?
What beauty
Without compare.
Who
Are you?

I can feel,
Oh how real,
How you
Have ensnared,
My Heart.
Who
Are you?

These words
Are not worthy
Nor can they match
Your
Beauty.

This is about the person who I ran into a wall attempting to woo.

Again, comments are very much appreciated and welcome! :D

On seeing the title I immediately thought of Ryoma's Haken from Rise.

On the other hand, these aren't that bad! Keep up the decent work, it'll come to you eventually.

Thanks! :D

I've got a much shorter poem with a title too! I got a feeling that today was the luckiest day in my life....:)

A Small Victory

Victory.
No matter how small
A victory is a victory.
I didn’t think you could stall
Forever.

That little pink blush,
How pretty you look,
How it made me flush
Inside.
One step closer.

Though I must be imagining
I feel I am not
If I got
What
I desire,
We’d both be joyful
Forever.
Victory.

I think this sort of gives you an idea why I think I was so lucky today. ;)

Comments are always appreciated! :)
