Interesting - very interesting. I wish people would start doing comics of the Rebel Alliance than of the clone wars, but still, cool. wink.gif

Interesting, but seriously, why have Clone Wars comics become the norm? At least as long as you're not doing straight-up Republic vs. CIS and your cast isn't made up entirely of Jedi, I'll continue reading.

Pretty good, DR. I likey. Expecting more; this has enough potential for me to say one of my comic catchphrases:

This is too cool to die.

The CIS does appear, but their role is minor compared to the other stuff that's coming. It's more of a dilemma between right and wrong. If there's battles, it's mostly clone vs clone.

I believe Clone Wars comics have become the norm due to the fact there's so many sets lurking about. When the new Rebel battlepacks come out, it'll shift back, and then probably stay there for a while, until EVEN MORE Clones come out dry.gif.

Like JL said, if there's hardly any Jedi and not too much CIS vs. Clone action, I'll keep reading this. It's not bad so far - fairly high-quality for a brand-new comic on the forums. I'm a bit sick of Comic Life being used in Lego comics, but oh well - it's easy to use and makes everything look professional.

I just migh drink it to keep the fear of SEEING THE PAT THAT SHOULD BE COVERED BY NAME OMG SO MUCH BLOOD

Hey all, I'm the editor/co-writer/special fx guy on this comic.

Thanks for all the feedback, please tell us what you think when we post new stuff. To repeat what DR said, the battles are mostly clones vs. clones. But the CIS does appear very soon, but they don't show up a lot.

Also, four more pages will be up tomorrow.

1.Yeah, but remember I said yes to a droid sign up.

2.Don't give false hope Andrew... don't give false hope...

Also, Micheal Rodrick is guest starring for the next part!! (and a few more) as Sergeant Kahl. If you don't know who Rodrick is, he played Stokes on the tv show 24. We are glad to have him here as part of the cast (if only for a while)*

*no, Micheal Rodrick isn't ACTUALLY....it's a joke. But keep Stokes in your head when you see him!

The entire actor thing is for fun, so we can do bloopers and stuff...

I suppose that's true and Darkranger, I can't blame you for that. Being excited about finally having Lego Rebels was the only reason why I started my first comic. I do see potential, I'm just cautioning you not to make mistakes like accepting too many large-roled sign-ups and resorting to formulaic concepts. I hope you put an interesting spin a common idea and take it to an awesome level. wink.gif

Some advice, BTW - when\if you put battle droids in, make sure you don't give them too much personality like in episode III and the Clone Wars. Keep them old (old? They were silly all along). That is, unless you like the Clone Wars a lot and are not open to doing it any other way. tongue.gif

Oh, crap.

There's a lot of stuff planned for the comic that's not exactly...for kids. It's some violent stuff. So we were doing two versions: the Uncut and SSLF Edit. The SSLF edit would just be toned down for ages 10+ while uncut has some extra scenes and more blood and gore. I was going through and mindlessly added blood and I forgot to first upload the bloodless files here.

Oops.

Well, darkrangr has taken it upon himself to do blaster FX since mine suck.

Let us know what you think of the new pages!
I want to change my name. But I can't. Oh well.
