This comic is set 3 years after LotE. I have permission from Grom, and we're *kind of* working together on it. Basically, I make it, script and comic, he verifies what I write. This won't take over CvV, I'll still be working on that. Anyhow, on with the comic:

Okay, need another post, it's 65 images long...

The comic focused too heavily on humor, and to be blunt, the humor was not that great. As a result, you have a not-so-great comic on your hands. I can really give any suggestion except to tell you to focus more on the story.

Yeah, that was the main problem that I thought of as well. It'll soon change in the next few issues though.

Oh, by the way, that means I'm gonna continue with it.

Is this the same comic as the new sci-fi one you're holding a sign-up for, or is that different?

Anyway, the comic was... okay, I guess. Could use a little work. The jokes are too straight forward. The thing I like about LotE humor was how complicatedly quirky and bizarre it was. Visually, everything's fine. Good effects, nice camera quality. I just think the content can be improved.

I feel so happy. My flames effect's still being used on comics to this day...

I must say, I find myself agreeing with both Muffy and Jlblue. The humor's very...

Try and resurrect some of the quirky-ness LOtE is well known for. Otherwise, it's pretty good. Good picture quality and the likes. The only other thing i'd say is a lot of the pictures felt too close to the LEGO. Maybe distance them a little, but otherwise it's good.

If I'd have known they were yours, I would have included you in the credits. Grom sent me them over MSN.

I'm not bothered. They're part of an image sprayer tool on Corel Photo Paint. I sprayed all of them out on a white page for Ryan Ultima (or anyone else who wanted flames)'s comic (namely WotBH). It's hardly worth a name in the credits.

Okay, cool, they're really good, and I appreciate them.

Alrighty then, so the basic formula for improvment is: More Story + Less Humour + Better Humour = Good Comic. Correct?

More or less. All of the other elements most comics trip over seem to be covered really well, so yeah. Just focus on those few things, and you'll be good to go.

Oh. Well that screws up the continuity a bit then, doesn't it?

I had a character in the original LotE that was a mercenary. I signed up with the same name as him, but in a different role. I guess if that messes with everything then you can drop my character to avoid messing with the canon.

You mean the original Merc version? Sure, he's here.

I have no idea what torso he's using, so don't ask me. I think it's a decal. I guess you should ask Grom about it. huh.gif

It will be better in Part two... He told me on Msn that it would have less forced humour/ maybe none.
