I decided to turn Terraria: The Comic, into a Story to make the plot move more quickly. If more stuff will be made in comic form, it will be posted on the origional Comic Topic.
Anyways, on to the Story Stuff:

Umog the ‘Mad Inventor’, was now dressed, in addition to his white overshirt, red dress shirt, black shorts, and leather shoes, wore battered Iron armor and carried a spear and a pack. The Blue Goblin adjusted his modified sunglasses and smile as Dalton and Kyle approached. “Ah, Dalton, it’s good to see you again.” He said.
“It’s good to see you Umog!” Dalton said “Kyle says you have some stuff for me…?”
“Yes, yes I do,” Umog said as he unslung the backpack from his shoulders and set it on the ground. From it he withdrew what looked like a small dresser from his pack and set it on the ground “It’s a Tinkerer’s Workshop,” he explained “you use it to combine items to make new ones. Like how combining Hermes Boots and my Rocket Boots make Specter Boots like the ones you have.”
He next removed a Tool Belt, and handed it to Dalton. “This will increase your placing range.” He said.
Then he removed a Grappling Hook and gave it to Dalton. “This is for climbing and staying in place. It’s very useful when you go mining.” He said.
Finally, he removed a small sack and handed it to Dalton. “Those are Spiky Balls,” He said as Dalton opened the sack to examine them “Goblins use them in warfare to slow enemy advances. They’re very effective.”
Kyle, who had been peering into the sack, said “There’s still two more things in there, Umog, what are they?”
“They,” Umog said as Joseph, Gargavel, Dominique, Madeline and Chryseis gathered around “are the other reason why I came here.”
From the sack he withdrew a Black and Red Helmet fashioned to look like a hideous monster with yellow gem eyes, and a wicked looking two-edged purple sword.
Chryseis gasped “A Crimson Helmet and a Light’s Bane!” she said. The other NPCs backed away from the evil objects.
“Yes,” the Goblin said as he handed these as well to Dalton, who quickly put them into his inventory “Yesterday, we were attacked. Beasts of the Corruption and the Crimson invaded our Towne, as well as Soldiers of both places.”
“But why would they do that?” Joseph asked “You haven’t, as far as I know, picked a fight with them, have you?”
“No, it’s because some of us helped Dalton escape from Hedoro Ousho and his minions.” Umog said “Hedoro was a Boss, the Slime King; his allies are probably not please that he’s dead. So they attacked us?”
“How many are dead?” Madeline asked.
“Too many,” Umog said “more than half the Towne is dead, and the others are wounded or critically injured. Goblins Immigrants are coming to us, they like how we run our tribe now, but it will take many more of them to bring the Towne back to its former glory.”
“Like it had any.” Gargaval muttered.

“There’s one thing I don’t understand,” Dalton said as he and Kyle walked to the nearest Trees to find some wood (He had deemed it best for Umog to stay with them instead of returning to Goblin Towne) “What exactly are the Corruption and the Crimson, anyway? Everyone keeps saying that it’s the essence of the Spirit of Darkness, but I don’t even know who that is!”
“Well,” Kyle “At the Beginning of Time, the World was normal. The Players and NPCs, the Dryads, the Dwarves, and the Goblins lived in harmony. Then, two powerful Spirits came to the land: The Spirit of Light, and the Spirit of Darkness. The Spirit of Light governed over the Hallow, the original Home of the Dryads, and the Spirit of Darkness ruled over the Corruption and the Crimson. Naturally, both Spirits despised each other, and fought against each other, as Spirits of that Nature often do; the Dryads and Dwarves joined the Light, the Goblins joined the Dark, and the Players and NPCs joined whichever side the thought was best. The War raged on for many years, and hundreds died on both sides. Finally, a mighty Third Party, led by a great creature, fought against both Spirits, and imprisoned them. It then created others to help guard the Spirits from those who would free them. But even this came too late: The Players were almost completely wiped out, the NPCs were scattered, the Dryads hid in their forests, the Dwarves retreated into their Mountain Fortresses, and the once proud Goblin race had been reduced to a primitive shadow of their former Nation. The Hallow disappeared, and only the Corruption and Crimson remained.”
There was a brief silence.
“That was a lot of Backstory.” Dalton commented.
“Yes, it is,” Kyle said “The story of this Land has been changed and added to over the years, so even I don’t know if this version of it is true.”
