I like the barbarian, the scientist, the...pretzel girl (especially since it looks like she's got a new hair piece), and Elwood, but other than that, wow, yeah, pretty lame series.

I wonder whose bright idea it was to give the waitress a yellow outfit.

They need to do a Mongol warrior.

Well I don't know about you guys, but I see a new cat design (!!!) and I collect all designs and recolors of kitties. It appears that this one is the Belville cat shrunken down to minifig scale, which I am okay with.

But yeah, let's see... big yeti guy, weird tribal dude, Pretzel girl, and the woman with the cat. That's pretty much it for me. That black Dastan hair might be cool to have, though, considering it was otherwise obtainable almost exclusively in a massively overpriced Harry Potter set, at least last time I looked.

There was an only slightly less overpriced City set that had it too.

I actually resorted to getting a couple Snape keychains and ripping the chains off to get the hair, so yeah, gonna be nice to have some that don't have holes in the top.

Does anybody know where I can get long white hair? I don't want to have to paint anything when I make Drizzt.

Also: how does everyone feel about the Lego movie? I'm going to see it.

By the way, Chima (the show) sucks compared to ninjago. My little sister was watching tv, I walked in, and I watched the first episode with her. It is much lower quality than ninjago. At least that's my opinion.

For black Dastan's hair, I think the cheapest option prior to this was Doc Ock in the $30 Spidey set. Long white hair... I'm not sure there really is an official LEGO piece for that...

Personally, though, I really like the looks of series 11. Only a couple that don't have new molds, which I find huge. Really, I think if even half of a series is interesting enough to get, it's a good series. Barbarian, Scarecrow, Gingy, Elf, Yeti (3 winter/Christmas 'figs in one series? Hm...), Climber (that rope piece looks very useful), Wielder, Scientist (TWO vials, of which I still has none), Sax dude, Grammy, and Copper... Probably one of the few series I'd be willing to grab a random 'fig from.

EDIT: Looking at this, yeah, not really anything...

And a new hood-when-down piece... I hope they didn't put a bunch of stupid printing on it, but the potential either way... :D

I believe the hi-res pics should be coming soon, but I can see an awesome hat/hair combination and the set looks pretty good as well.

Is that Qui-gon hair on (I'm assuming) Bard?

If so, I'm kinda surprised they'd bring it back - as much as everyone loves how useful it was for customizing, the mold was flawed. Every single one I have had the shoulder hair bits bend or break off.

Ooo Series 11, I just realized it looks like at least four (Barbarian, Scarecrow, Black Mech thing, & Gingerbread man) all have arm printing. That's impressive.

My first LEGO set came out when I was about 5. It was the LEGO Star Wars Imperial inspection. I remember my dad and I built it together and eventually I crashed it :suicide: . I also bought some other Star Wars sets, and I came interested in BIONICLE the year it started becoming repetitive. I still enjoy LEGO to this day, but I am starting to make MOCs more than buying the sets. I am still excited to see what new sets and play themes LEGO has to offer

Is that the one where it has the Imperial Shuttle, Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, that little hover cart think, 2 storm troopers, and the Imperial officer?  If it is, my shuttle was destroyed after my brothers were playing with a GIANT DODGE BALL inside and it bounced on it...... -_-

About halfway through, you can see some pretty clear shots of the Laketown set in all it's non-rendered goodness. There's some glare from the glass case, but you can see a few more angles.

Oh yeah, I heard a rumor about that a good while back. I'll just say the same thing I said then:

Much like Scorp said, the first thing that came to my mind was "I hope this will break the tradition of licensed themes being ONLY fleshies."

I must admit the Simpsons would be immensely fun, just to collect, if nothing else.
