Hey folks!
My name is Nick!
I really love building LEGO; I've been building since I was about 3 or 4 and my collection is only a couple years younger than myself. I enjoy building castle and mythic sci-fi builds. I graduated from UMW with a BS in Computer Science and currently work as a test engineer. Anyways, I've been inspired by so many builders and I always look to get better and better in building. I would leave a link to my Flickr or Brickshelf, but I'll just say check out the Construction Zone! I have plenty of old and new works in that part of the forum. Hope you enjoy!

I never thought this day would come. I really thought 2020 would take this from me, but jokes on it! My last order got in on December 24th!
So, let's get this one started!
Back in 2013, I made this bad boy. It's the Dwarven "Fury" Siege Tank for my dwarf army. Well, I kept it for a long time. I always had plans to revisit this MOC because, well... it really sucks. I mean, it's open top, the mechanics are really bad, and overall never quite matched my ideal siege tank. So, I decided to go back to my initial inspiration:
Grabbing this picture and a better idea of how to proceed, I darted off to Stud.io, and slaved away to bring you...
The Dwarven "Fury" Siege Tank 2.0
Bigger, badder, and just overall more pleasing to me, I'm quite proud of this one.
Compared to 1.0, this version features a much better system for fuel generation. It's easily accessible, and allows for additional tools to be stored. The only downside, as with all of the dwarven artillery, the tank has its inherent flaws. While refueling is easy, it also creates a HUGE weak spot to be exploited.
Correct faction colors have also been added! The army of Faermoore is dark red and red, not blue and gold. Though the cannon is smaller, the overall turret is just a massive upgrade. I even added a spyglass and a cloth roll for a little bit of details. A hatch was also added for easy access.
The front is no longer a terrible ram, but rather a sloped, spiked, front plate. The grills are windows, allowing the driver to see outside. As for the two red 1x3 plates, let's just say some decals are intended to go there.
OH! And MOC'ing features have also been added! Steam can come from the steam tank and the cannon can actually be shown shooting. Additionally, trans-clear pieces can be added to show ammo flying across the field. So that's another bonus!
Following my earlier system of 3-5-7 (three heavy, five medium, and seven light), three of these tanks were made to further the war effort.
And that's all for now! Just happy to have crossed this off of my "To-Do" List for 2020.
Hope you all enjoyed!
As always,
C&C is welcome and appreciated!

That's a big guard!
I really like all of the little details you manage to cram into your characters.

Eradicators are done! These Gravis armored, Melta wielding Astartes are even decaled! I'll be moving to the Assault Intercessors next, seeing as how they're the last unit from the Indomitus box that will be added to 2nd Company. The rest of them are 1st Company Veterans and what not.
More to come later though!

Update time!
The wheels are done! No pictures because they are literally just 12 wheels with spikes on them.

Back at it again with the WH40K! This time I present a Primaris Techmarine! Not gonna lie, techmarines have always been my favorite type of marine. Took a solid 2-weeks to paint him, just because I wanted to take my time and make him look good. The shoulder decal is off ever so slightly, but I at least nailed the knee decal. Seriously, waterslide decals are kind of a pain in the butt to get right. Either way, I really like the gear assortment and was super stoked when they announced this model!
Anyways, that's all for now. I'll be back to painting real soon, seeing as how my Indomitus box got in:
I'll be focusing on the space marine half only, just because I kinda don't care about the Necrons (just like the Death Guard, except they really stink... like literally, look them up). Once this box has been dealt with, I'm highly considering investing in a tank.
We'll see...

First progress update! Steam tanks are done for all three vehicles! You'll notice that the reddish brown 1x4 isn't present. Well, turns out that it doesn't fit. Because of this, the part was removed and instead the technic pins underneath were just covered by the 1x1 flat silver, round tiles.
List
- 3x Steam Tanks (DONE)
- 3x 4-Spiked Wheels (In progress)
- 3x Turret
- 3x Body
As far as the next steps go, the wheels are actually in pretty good shape. Thankfully, I have eight wheels, which means I only needed four. 1x1 sloped spikes were ordered in bulk, simply because I'm going to need them on both the body and the turret. With any luck, I should have the wheels done this next week when the orders arrive.

Got that second project done!
Allow me to introduce my Hislithian Grand Knights!
Rather than utilize the Lion Knight barding from the Kingdoms line (which each barding started at like $8-$10 USD) I went with a brick built barding.
Disclaimer: THIS IS NOT MY IDEA!!! The original place I found this was at the following link: http://www.classic-c....php?f=3&t=5665
The flags were a pain to get since they only appeared in one set, but other than those, the rest of the parts were fairly cheap. The lances are the same ones used for the Pegasus Knights. The difference is, that I used a grip to allow the riders to have couched lances. Anyways, just another project that I wanted to get out of the way real quickly!
Let me know what you think!

Alright... sooo... this happened...
Completely scrapped the body. Came up with a more thin design. And I really like it! I smoothed down a lot of side to leave room for decals (because they will be here).
Development Stats:
- 419 Parts
- 172.47 USD
I still might go back and add supports on the interior since it is pretty hollow. However, that can be done with whatever, so I don't really feel like adding to the list to increase costs. I'mma mull this one over before I dive headfirst into this model (that and I have another project in the works that'll be finished relatively soon).
Let me know what ya think!
