Long overdue.

Sorry about that and my absence.

NB. You'll need a program which supports decompression of GZipped Tarballs to get at the world data. I can't recommend 7-zip highly enough for Windows users (OS X shouldn't have a problem with the format).

That bit reminded me of the end to the first Mummy movie more than anything. They watch a pyramid full of treasure sink into the sand before riding off with a small saddlebag full of gold.

And that means less of people like Snape and Megonigal (however you spell that) :(

That's Minerva McBadass to you. :P

Just got back from seeing it. Snape's memories were wonderfully done. Best part of the entire series.

My main problem with the film: Moony was just thrown away. I would have liked to see Tonks and him dueling back to back with dozens of Death Eaters. Unfortunately you see him get ordered around by Kingsley, and then he's just lying on the ground dead. I didn't need to see his death, but Remus is by far the most under appreciated character in the film series. They even wrote Remus' son out of the Epilogue. They must have it in for the Lupin family - something I really don't care for. Remus is nothing less than brilliant.

Harry Potter was a huge part of my life. I grew up over the last 14 years with both the books and the films. Now they're both done, I feel somewhat at a loss.

Good point. Edited because dumb post was dumb.

Ultimately, I do want an Uncharted movie made. I love Video Games and I love Uncharted - I would hate to see it ruined. However I love movies too and an Uncharted Movie sounds like mixing awesome and epic. That doesn't always turn out well, normally because the studios forget what makes the game awesome, but I think that with the way Sony are pushing an Uncharted movie, it's going to happen anyway. North would be perfect, but we don't live in a perfect world. And, in my opinion, Fillion is the best person who could get the job. :)

What is it with Americans and sticking the Stars and Stripes on everything?

SSLF is an international community, and although we play on the North American servers, the logo really should reflect Saber Scorpion's Lair, not a country.

Actually you still put a pre-specified amount of money when you get it off PSN. I still have around 90 some cents lurking around in my "online wallet".

You can choose to only put enough in your wallet to buy the items in your Shopping Cart.

But anyway, I don't expect any kind of compensation from Sony for the downtime. I don't really mind it anyway... unless my credit card gets stolen. Now that is quite a bit different.

My thoughts exactly. Downtime is annoying, but having my email address, password and credit card details stolen is quite a different manner. Thankfully (?) I haven't received one of those notification emails saying I've had my personal details stolen, but I'm still worried it might be still to come. :(

I finally got off my butt to see what all the hullabaloo was about with this game. And I gotta say, this looks like my kinda game. Of course it'd be a PS3 exclusive, and the third (For excksbawx, it seems) isn't due until next year or something. <_<

Drake's Deception comes out on the 1st of November, like all the big games of the year (Including Minecraft).

And Nate's Theme is awesome. Nothing can make it not-awesome.

Also, on the exosuit, I know someone who wouldn't want one. (not a ninja) The commander of the infantry battalion about to get beaten into submission by an exosuit would not want an exosuit barging towards him.

I'm fairly sure anyone about to get attacked by a soldier wearing an Exo-suit would want their own Exo-suit. To run away faster, if anything.

Have you got any G4M3 art lying around Scorp?

For the one that is home to the Ravagers, maybe Miranda Mira? I think NR could use a Firefly cameo.

Have you read Warrior Born? It's full of Firefly references! :P In only the last 50 pages or so, Firefly is referenced twice! Zegaldorph says the Mahlok Burn the land and boil the seas, and then there's Spectra's ID card! :P On my next read through, I may jot down every reference I catch with a page number.

EDIT: Okay, Scorp posted about this too. Before me. Bah.

And for the Victory one, maybe New Plymoth?

Old Plymouth ain't really that much to be proud of. In fact, none of the port cities of England are that pleasant or victorious. Most of the Britain's greatest victories were thousands of miles away. Trafalgar (Strait of Gibraltar, off the southern coast of Spain), Salamanca, Badajoz, Vitoria (All Spain/Portugal), Assaye and Mysore (Centre of India) spring to mind. If you want something victorious out of Britain, go with Wellington, the Iron Duke. He's about the most victorious thing we've got to offer! :P

First off, I'm glad they added the dedication to Elizabeth Sladen at the beginning. The 15 minute broadcast about her legacy on CBBC was also heartfelt and satisfying.

Making up for their previous performances in real combat.

Their average connection speed is over 15Mb/s. Those who can afford to play video games online will likely have even faster speeds. So yeah, I'm not surprised they'll win a lot of games.

I said my opinion, which is simple: I am against everything in your suggestion. I considered it, and I dont see any great advantages in it, aside that the basic informations and story informations will be separated. And no matter what you say will persuade me to change it.

Now this is the problem. I can't discuss ideas with an obnoxious ignoramus. Being incredibly closed minded like this makes it very difficult for me to elaborate further on what I meant by that suggestion. If nothing I say will make a difference, then I won't say anything.

I do have a full length response and further discussion of this one suggestion saved in a text document if anyone is interested in reading it. However I think my previous explanation of this single suggestion is adequate.
