I'm back with some more NR fanart, but this time it's not for any contest, just for your viewing pleasure (or displeasure, idk.) I thought it would be a cool idea to draw mostly faithful renditions of various Xarkon soldiers, based on their appearances from Scorp's minifigs, official concept art, even Nova member ranks. I hope they're up to snuff.

EDIT: Oh yeah, since these were drawn as smaller pictures, it's better to view them in a separate tab where they're a bit more scaled down and closer to how they look on paper. The pictures take sort of a hit in quality from my scanner, due to the brightness and enlargement.

Sergeant Major:

Engineer:

Medic:

Scout:

My hand seriously hurts after all this drawing. However, if these pictures receive good reception, I may do other soldiers of different factions in a similar style. Cheers.

I don't understand why you didn't just start an Art Topic.

It should be a crime to like this Artwork only once.

Fantastic work. You drew them really well, like the original minifigs :) But...

The Engineers and Medics are supposed to have the same helmets as the regualr Infantryman. The reason that they have different with Minifigs is, if I recall correctly, that the Star Wars Imperial Scouttrooper helmet dont fits together with a backpack. I think its even written on the same page. If not, I read it once somewhere. Saber-Scorpion would enlighten this in a short while I am sure :)

Those look amazing!  Glad to see Nova Refuge getting some attention from fellow fans again.  I particularly liked the armor details you gave the Scout, though the Medic and Sergeant Major were also outstanding.  Well done!

I have an actual art topic somewhere, but my thought process for these separate threads based on content is that they might make the NR board just slightly more active. I might bump my thread with some newer stuff, or just make a new one.

Thanks for all the positive reception, everyone. Would any of you like to see a different faction drawn up?

You are most welcome!  I'd be interested in some Victory artwork, for sure.

There is Sergeant, or squad leader, and Scout. From Warbringer.

These are amazing. Are you working on any new ones? I'd love to see someone draw John Exsyl, Ordinator of Victory. But we only have the description from Warrior Born to go on at the moment.
Me at a library: Where is it? Oh! I didn't notice the book among all those books.
