Pick a simple theme and use each genre to inform the tone and atmosphere of the scene. As an example, a conversation between two characters about the monster chasing them could be a tense, frenetic exchange of accusations in slasher, a startled discussion of the monster's defiance of modern biology in sci-fi, and a snarky argument over how best to kill the thing in action.

To put it more broadly, choose a general premise to a scene that isn't too specific to a genre, pick three genres out of a hat (I mean literally get a hat, write down a ton of genres, then pull out three), and ask "Okay, in X genre-type movie, how would this scene probably be handled?".
