See I'm the other way round, I'm yet to see OUaTitW, simply as I haven't had the only opportunity.

I very much intend to watch it when I have actual free time again, Sergio Leone was a master of the craft.

Just played Far Cry 3. Really fun when not playing the story haha. Definitely a white man take on the "noble savage," very worrisome as a history student. Plus, Vaas was the only character of note.

I think my favorite bit was the hallucinations with the giant demon thing. So much WTF packed into so short a timespan.

The writer tried to claim it was a satire after release. I'm not sure he knows what satire is, because playing a eurocentric trope straight is absolutely not satire.

These days, "it was a satire" is the defense used by every hack fraud trying to save face after something meant to be serious proves laughably bad and/or cliche.

Good lord, it's worse than his performance in Les Miserables! Granted, I haven't seen the movie that he really got the Oscar for, but I wouldn't exactly call this a good addition to his resume.

To be fair, you have to recognise that this film was so bad and unintentionally hilarious that trying to provide a good performance would be a waste of effort. I think Redmayne is a bit over hyped, but he is a good actor and intelligent man, so I can guarantee he did what is called "Jeremy Ironsing" it. ie. having as much hammy fun as possible with the worst script of your career

For the record, nobody has topped Jeremy Irons in Jeremy Ironsing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BV3roWM0DSs

The Starman has left. RIP Bowie, who transcended genre, generation and culture as perhaps the single greatest sonic pioneer of our time. You will never be forgotten.
