Wow! You did that on LDD? Besides being a well detailed creation, the amount of time to make that must have been big. Can't wait to see it 100% finished.

Thanksssss

Nah, it didn't take that long to make, maybe an hour or two of tinkering. It's pretty easy once you figure out how to make the suspension (I used 1x1 technic bricks, pins, #1 Technic connectors, and whatever the other angled Technic connectors are) because then you can focus making a sturdy chassis to build on.

Here's a peek at how my suspension arms are attached:

(If SS wants me to erase the pics I'll do it of course, though I'm not sure how he built his)

That's actually rather simplistic, which is pretty darn cool. Any chance you'll actually make a model of it?

I already have the big white wedges, the rest is common parts (I think) so it shouldn't be too hard/expensive to build. I still need to move the side panels in a little though, I'm just not sure how to position the hinges, may have to switch to using hinge plates instead of bricks?

I now have almost all the pieces for this thing, I'll start building so I can tweak the side panels, maybe post some pics.

I updated the LXF again just now, now complete with cannon :)

I have it like 70% brick built and it's pretty sturdy, just the sidewalls are kinda wobbly. There's nothing fancy going on inside, all basic building. I made the engine part a solid mass so it's heavier, so a strong rubberband wont force the wheels together lol.

Eventually I'll probably brickbuild an engine and try to fit it in there, I just want this damn thing done!

Updated the model again for the last time xD Check first post

I redesigned the rear so it's less like SS's Mako, and a little sturdier. Also the cannon now moves freely.

Added picture of brickbuit Mako to the first post. It's like 99% done, there are just some temporary pieces that aren't the right color, dirty, etc. The inside needs to be "furnished" with consoles, lights, etc.
