Listening to probably the greatest guitar piece ever written. 0:30 to skip straight to the music.

The more you deal with women the more love songs make sense. I'll go out on a limb and post a couple songs from a post-relationship playlist I made when my girlfriend dumped me.

That's just my soft side, though. I am a manly hipster man on the right side of the equation. Like, this is what y equals. Okay, well, you know what band I had to not listen to for years in order to listen to like it now? Nickelback. I hated them for years and years, and then Rockstar came on and I was like "Woah. I remember this sucking more."

S'probably been done, but the only time I can recall was on a branch-off forum, and I'm legitimately curious. So...top five favorite bands anyone? Mayhaps your favorite album by each of the aforementioned?

For me: U2 (The Joshua Tree), Sam Roberts Band (Collider), The Who (Who's Next), Dire Straits (Making Movies), and probably above all The Gaslight Anthem (Um...everything.)

Honorable Mentions: Bob Dylan (Blood on the Tracks), Paramore (Riot!), The Rolling Stones (I'll just say Hot Rocks '64 to '71.), Pink Floyd (Wish You Were Here), and The Clash (London Calling)

Five and five was unintentional.

I'm going to have to cheat and rank some bands/artists equally, and some albums from bands/artists equally. Hope this isn't too confusing.

1. Queen (The Works/Night at the Opera/News of the World)
2. Pink Floyd (Dark Side of the Moon)
3. Muse/David Bowie (Muse- Origin of Symmetry/ Bowie-The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars)
4. The Beatles (Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band)
5. The Kinks (Kinks/Lola Versus Powerman and Moneygoround, Part One)

Honourable Mentions: Miachel Jackson (Thriller) Nirvana (In Utero) Jimi Hendrix (Are You Experienced?) Bruce Springsteen (Born to Run) Led Zeppelin (Led Zeppelin II and IV) Metallica (Black Album) The Clash (London Calling)

edit: added in some more honourable mentions.

Afraid I can't rank them, but I can list them.

The Protomen - Act I
The Glitch Mob - Drink The Sea
Iron Maiden - Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
Def Leppard - Pyromania
Daft Punk - Alive 2007

Hmmm......

Opeth (Ghost Reveries(Or maybe Blackwater Park. Hard to choose, they're both awesome.))
Edguy (Rocket Ride)
Hilltop Hoods (Drinking From the Sun)
Pendulum (Immersion)
Dead Letter Circus (This is the Warning)

With The Dillinger Escape Plan (Option Paralysis) and Mastodon (Crack the Skye) close behind.

Ew, I think I'm drowning in Alt. rock, electronica and Progressive metal. :P

Anyway, here's something completely different to anything I've posted so far. By a genius called Frédéric Chopin.
