I felt the need for jumping on the movie poster bandwagon. And really, this poster is awesome. Wish I could say the same for the movie. The direction was great, and Rockwell was great. The script focused to much on being quirky than creating a character that you care about or having the movie make any sense. I think Charlie Kaufman went way overboard. It could've been awesome if he would have toned it down a bit.

Hey come on man, what's wrong with a happy ending now and then? Besides, Moon didn't even have much of a happy ending.
Spoiler
The ending was the sole beacon of light in that tragic picture. :[

Last movie I watched was Youth in Revolt. I expected it to be funnier, but it was good, I guess. All of the good parts were in the trailer, as usual. It needed more Zach Galifianakis.

I just finished District 9 (See, I had seen about half of it, and then they took the movie from me). So, I got it back and finished it. Really cool.

There was a preview for Moon in the beginning I believe, and I thought it looked really interesting. I think I'll watch it next.

Garden State...very depressing. I think even the ending is pretty sad.

Something completely inappropriate for most members here, and something that would horrify many adults. I'll leave it at that.

Anyway, last movie I watched was Advent Children Complete ages ago. Much, much better than the original version, especially now that it has a plot.

And it was amazing, the first movie that made me weep tears of overwhelming sadness. You'll understand when you're about to go to college, I wish I never packed up my legos. :(

Just watched Super Troopers, a truly riotously funny movie, especially the beginning. My favorite character is Rabbit. :P

I have to agree with you in saying that this movie was the closest I've come crying due to a movie in a long time (Marley & Me). The nostalgia was horribly painful, I grew up on these movies, I couldn't tell you how many times I've watched Toy Story and Toy Story 2 over the years (including many of Pixar's other older movies too)

I know Pixar already wins it every year, but I'm still calling Best Animated Picture at the Oscars next year.
