Since it didn't seem right to reply to this in the Avengers topic, I'll do it here.

It's gotta be in my top 3.

Most of my favorite movies are tied.

Favorite of all time: (obviously not in order)
1. Avengers
1. Thor
1. The A-Team
1. Big Trouble in Little China
And then the rest:
2. Speed Racer
3. Spider-Man 1
4. Sky High
5. Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lighting Thief
6. Captain America
7. Iron Man 1
8. Iron Man 2
17. The Incredible Hulk

At the moment, my absolute favouritest movie of all time ever is Toy Story, closely tied with the Avengers and Return of the Jedi.

My favorite movies have changed since May, and now they are... (in order this time)

1. Halo Forward Unto Dawn
2. The A-Team
3. Big Trouble in Little China
4. Thor - The Avengers (tie)
5. Speed Racer - Sky High - Serenity

They are organized by just if I had a good time, and if I would want to watch it again. It doesn't necessarily have to be deep, clever, or amazing, it just has to be a good time.

Oh no, it's Sauron! Act natural!

Love Boogie Nights. Really a contemporary type of guy in my tastes and what I like in movies but you've got to recognize and love the process that has brought us to where we are today and it's just so cool how essentially PTA really embodies the current (I guess, although this is terrible wording and not to be taken as definitely as the word means) endpoint which we've reached and he's sort of pushing with each of his movies. Now, are there better movies, oh absolutely, could probably name a dozen, but really nobody beats Dirk Diggler.

The Book of Eli

Yes, I know the million reasons people hated this movie. And, excessive violence aside, these were largely the reasons I loved it.

Can I just step in here for a minute to say how MIND-BLOWINGLY AWESOME Pacific Rim is? Because it is. It's like Godzilla v. Giant Robots with that signature Guillermo del Toro style.  It's that perfect combination of action, comedy, and just the right amount of drama to keep you invested without being pretentious.  It knows exactly what it wants to be, exactly what it is, and delivers exactly that.  If you have any love of robots and giant monsters, see this movie before you die.

I just saw Big Fish for the first time, and it's certainly earned a spot on at least my top 10 list (though I don't really have an official list per say). It's been on my movie list for pretty long, though I held off from watching it for a long time for whatever reason. I slap myself for not watching it earlier, as it was fantastic. It was such a great story. The whole narrative of the father really entranced me from the moment he began telling them. Ewan McGregor and Albert Finney both did a fantastic job of it. One thing I like is that even though it's a Tim Burton movie, it seemed to have enough different qualities that you can't tell that it's one of his movies (as in most of them). Overall I would very much so recommend this; it is really a great story.

Wait a minute...'Star Wars Series' and 'Indiana Jones Series'?

Does that mean you like the Prequels? And the movie of CGI gophers?
