what if  both story lines collide, with some inter-dimensional travel or something?

I'd actually prefer it if they kept it separate. Greg Farshtey's barely involved and I kinda feel like the original universe should be his thing.

Much as I'd like to see a conclusion to the online serials, from a toy point of view the story ended quite neatly.

Except cancelling Firefly. Because that's just not cool.

The brand is too new for that to happen :P. I don't care about fit hey are in the same universe, I just hope that they are tethered somehow. Like the new star treks.

I want to know why Tahu no longer has fire-shaped swords... I mean... that alone is reason enough for me to pass on this reboot. :(

The story got too convoluted for its own good, I think. Pretty much the exact moment they revealed that all of it was in the body of a giant robot. That's when I officially checked out of the original script. In essence, they made the same mistake the Doctor Who writers make: it was cool, then they explained it.

Either way, this stuff looks alright. Doesn't have anything on the originals though.

Yeah, if they had just cut that out, they could have done something way more interesting. The giant robot just felt, for a lack of better words, dorky.
