Hey folks! My name is Nick! I really love building LEGO; I've been building since I was about 3 or 4 and my collection is only a couple years younger than myself. I enjoy building castle and mythic sci-fi builds. I just recently graduated from UMW with a BS in Computer Science; with any luck, you'll be seeing my builds rather frequently. Anyways, I've been inspired by so many builders and I always look to get better and better in building. Oh yeah! If you're ever curious, check out my Brickshelf Page at:http://www.brickshel...Nightstalker580. Hope you enjoy!

After receiving reinforcements and supplies, we sent a building team towards the Qar-Akhen river. We figured it would be best to establish a small place close to a water source. Though the majority of the fort appears finished, our work is far from over. We have a good lookout point over the river, and in a couple of days we should have plenty of supplies. Our healer, Lukan, doesn't seem to like the location. He continues to speak of these desert bandits, but I've assured him that our men will watch this location carefully.
Over many travels, I have seen great adventurers and pathetic adventurers. Now, not all of them were good guys; some of them were evil, but great none the less. However, after seeing countless failures, I figure it was about time to share some wisdom to beginners. I hope you find these tips useful, because you never know when knowing how not to get killed will help you.
Anyways, let me begin with Tip #1
This is Billy the Bandit.
Before I continue, let me tell you a bit about him. Billy was not a good kid; he constantly stole from the cookie jar, tipped over cows, and laughed at the poor (despite being a peasant himself). One day, his village kicked him out and forbade him to return. The only thing he had with him was a pair of clothes and his trusty rusty dagger. With that, he figured he would become an adventurer. The only problem was that he didn't know how to actually help people so instead he became more of a bandit adventurer.
Now back to the matter at hand
As you can clearly see, Billy is rushing towards someone hoping to rob them blind.
These are experienced adventurers. To make matters worse, they are all in plate armor, which would easily laugh at rusty weapons if it had a mouth to laugh. Also, the lead of the group heard him running through the bushes and is now facing him.
I almost forgot to tell you, Billy is not necessarily too smart either. Seeing as how he's been spotted... well you know what comes next.
This introduces Tip #1
- As a beginner, if you decide to become a bandit, it helps not to attack the most heavily armored looking travelers until you gain some experience or for that matter have good equipment. Doing so will most likely result in your immediate expulsion from life.
Araya joined the BLG after it had become renowned across the lands. Like several other guild members, Araya is a paladin. However, she is skilled in healing and blessing making her more akin to a battle cleric than an actually priest. Out of all the healers in the BLG, she is usually on the frontline with other warriors. As a paladin, Araya also follows a Lawful Good alignment, and she is generally one to try following good whenever possible.
When the Fallgrad Alliance needed a relatively small siege weapon, the dwarfs of Faermoore were eager to give them the "Big Boomer." While it may not be the biggest (or baddest) siege weapon of Faermoore, the "Big Boomer" has seen more action because it is easily transported and manned by a small team of dwarfs. This weapon is primarily used for taking down walls, although with a quick change of projectiles, it can be used to take out large groups of enemy forces.
Ammo is usually loaded from the side of the cannon (along the barrel), while the activation mechanism comes from behind. It simply requires some black powder and a fuse.
Djun joined the BLG after it had already established itself for a while. Having fought beside the original members of the BLG, he was easily accepted. He received his training in the Extraho Sol Empire, while he fought alongside the Emperor's Hammer, which is the emperor's personal group of soldiers. Having originally been raised in the Savadjik Desert, he is also an skilled tracker and monster hunter as well. Generally speaking, he is typically aligned as a lawful neutral, but he can be quite mercenary given the situation.
Due to recent combat updates, Vektan ground forces required an air vehicle to provide support for intense firefights. Gunship support became risky with the recent military developments of the Falkrinean, Ahven, and Duskarian armies. The Vektan response was the creation of the CSD, which provided a heavy amount of firepower in a small, light vehicle. The CSD is capable of high speeds, close to 100 mph, and it also is capable of a hover mode for suppressing fire. All of the sensor and HUD modules are stored in the main hull of the vehicle, and can be piloted manually, via a remote module installed on a soldier's armor, or autopilot from an established command outpost.
Hotsuma was also one of the earliest members to join the BLG. Hailing from the Extraho Sol Empire, he is a shinobi, skilled in the dark arts, ninjutsu, and kenjutsu. He is able to strike quickly and silently, but is also able to hold his own in an actual fight without the need of stealth. Generally speaking, he tends to have a lawful neutral alignment.
Right Hand: Lightforge Steel Uchigatana (2-Handed, can be used as 1-Handed)
Similar to Fenix, Karith is also a paladin, but he is more skilled in offensive, holy magic. He prefers to wield a two-handed weapon, rather than a sword and shield. As a high elf, he is also able to sense magic unlike most humans. While he may be a holy warrior, it is not uncommon for Karith to go against the Lawful Good code of the paladins. Because of this, he is readily able (if not willing) to make a more neutral or renegade choice.
Mongo is one of the senior members of the BLG. He is a skilled gunslinger, and one of the craftiest scoundrels of the land. Though he may have a large bounty on his head, many hunters won't dare to fight him; he is quick to cause a diversion and escape in a moment's notice. Usually, Mongo tends to look out for himself, although he does have some moments where he chooses to act like a hero. However, most of the times, he proves to be more of a renegade and a cutthroat. His stealth, marksmanship, and street smarts make him an excellent adventurer.
Right Hand: Double chambered flintlock pistol
Left Hand: Double chambered flintlock pistol
Armor: Traditional captains overcoat with a light chainmail vest
Looks like we got lucky today. A nearby convoy broke down, and it looks as though some soldiers decided to escort their VIP on foot. I believe that's our shield engineer; I know the officers back at Vekta would love to have her back. Our ambush is set; it's time to put in a little hurt.
Fenix Vae is the apprentice to the guild master. However, unlike his mentor, he is skilled in using holy magic. He is a formidable swordsman and stalwart defender willing to put himself in the line of danger just to protect others. On occasions, his lawful good alignment comes into conflict with other members of the guild, but he generally is able to accomplish the right thing.
Right Hand: Valkyrie Longswords (glows bright when near undead or demonic forces)
It should have been a routine recon operation, but today had to get interesting. We were patrolling the southern shelf, near one of the planetary shield relays when we found Lance Corporal Carl Ellis dead. We thought the marauders had gotten him, but one of my men pointed out a hole in the wall right behind him. After examining it, we discovered scorch marks on the wall. Something powerful hit him; it almost looked like plasma fire. We checked his datapad only to hear confusion and screams of pain. I heard several guns go off; they sounded familiar. Only one military uses plasma, and I prayed that they weren't here.
Several members of the Black Lance Guild ran into a snag when their client's wagon wheel broke. Figures it would be in the middle of a marsh. Something doesn't seem right though, but neither of them could put their finger on it. Hopefully that wheel will be fixed in no time...
With the recent attacks on her homeland, Lady Tywind and her two knights set off to find warriors willing to aid in its protection. With any luck, when she returns, an army of loyal soldiers will follow her.
