#409327 Undead Asylum

Posted by Nightstalker on 18 July 2013 - 10:04 PM

"There is an old saying in my family

Thou who art Undead art chosen

In thine exodus from the Undead Asylum

Maketh pilgrimage  to the land of the Ancient Lords

When thou ringeth the Bell of Awakening,

The fate of the Undead thou shalt know."

- Oscar, Knight of Astora

#409192 Everglow Flower

Posted by Nightstalker on 15 July 2013 - 09:42 PM

The Everglow is a unique flower found across all lands, with no native home. Among the many plants, the everglow is not eaten by any fauna, but it is gathered by many herbalists. Its unique color is a result of magic, which also adds to a unique property of being able to live even after being removed from the soil. In the hands of a skilled herbalist, it can be used to create curatives of any kind. Many presume this flower once flourished in the Falkrinean Empire prior to the first era.

#409103 IN43 Imperion Racer

Posted by Nightstalker on 14 July 2013 - 01:53 AM

The IN43 Imperion Racer is a highly illegal hover-vehicle. It uses a top of the line engine, that has been banned in over 7 different systems. Originally, the Imperion engine was developed for military use, but after a financial collapse, most of the engines were sold to freelancers and gearheads. Now these engines are used primarily for racing or for fast getaways. Anyone with information on these vehicles are to report them to local authorities immediately.

#408974 Ankoran Siege Boat

Posted by Nightstalker on 10 July 2013 - 12:07 AM

Though it is not usually deployed during most sieges, the kingdom of Ankora has developed small boats that are capable of siege warfare. These boats are primarily used when attacking from sea, and sometimes see use when moving along rivers or other smaller bodies of water. This vehicle requires a 4 man team to maneuver and 1 person to man the siege weapon. It is also capable of carrying small supplies in the back as well. Normally, the boat is abandoned once it reaches its destination; the crew joins with the main bulk of the knights once landed.

Posted by Nightstalker on 08 July 2013 - 08:19 PM

I think this is the place. With any luck, this should be a fast job. Run in, shoot up the agents, and steal the blazer shipment. I'll need to move quickly; Duskarian Security always reacts fast, and with brutal efficiency.

I haven't made any sci-fantasy stuff in awhile so here's a quick little scene. I'm going to try to form a series of builds around this guy, so maybe that will work out decently.

#408843 The Wars of Myself

Posted by Nightstalker on 06 July 2013 - 02:40 AM

Hey folks! This is a little MOC I made about myself, or to be more exact, my sigfigs. They are from multiple different genres of LEGO, but they all have one common factor; they are constantly fighting something! So here it is...

Overall MOC

From top to bottom:

The War Against Computer Science, The Dread War, and The Dark Matter War

With the CMF computer geek, I knew I had to put this one up. As a college student, I'm a CompSci major, so this seemed like a perfect little representation of dealing with pesky assignments. Particularly those in C++  :lego_hm:

My fantasy sigfig and a representation of his involvement in the Dread War (I really like using that shield technique).

Orion, my sci-fantasy sigfig, that seems to be fighting someone his entire life.

Anyways, that's all for now!

Hope you enjoyed the MOC.

#407670 Black Lance Guildhouse So Far!

Posted by Nightstalker on 18 June 2013 - 09:26 PM

I while back I promised that something big was coming in 1.5 weeks and here it is...

This is the Black Lance Guildhouse, and it is not even finished yet!

This building has taken a total of 3 years in development, and it has been stalled primarily due to a lack of money (I'll admit my family has been a huge support in making this). If you haven't seen the floors I'll go hunt down the link to them, but I'll just lay them out for you real quickly.

Basement: Armory

1st Floor: Main Hall

2nd Floor: Guild Quest Rooms and Guildmaster's Office

3rd Floor: Dining Hall

4th Floor: Library and Arcaneum

These 5 floors are finished 100% (minus the books needed in the library  :lego_hm: )

5th Floor: Guildmaster's Quarters and Servant's Quarters

6th Floor: Guild Barracks

7th Floor: Guild Lounge and Guild Vault

8th Floor: Guild Training Room

Those 4 floors are still unfinished.

As for this...

By the end of this week (if they get finished in time), these banners will have the guild emblem on them along with a black border. It should look pretty darn awesome!

So this is my big reveal. I hope you all enjoyed it and I hope to show you at least one of the uncompleted floors before I return back to college.

#407507 How Not to Get Killed: A Guide for New Adventurers

Posted by Nightstalker on 16 June 2013 - 11:49 PM

I think it is safe to say that the world is dangerous. This next tip is especially important for beginners, so let me introduce...

Tip #8: Party Up!

- When you start out, it helps to find a group of people to adventure with. Solo adventuring can be very dangerous, especially if you don't know the lay of the land. Besides, you're bound to learn something useful from your time with others.

Furthermore, partying up with other adventurers allows you to tackle harder quest, which will usually pay out more. Lastly, adventuring can get rather lonely at times. With the right group of companions, your adventure can become huge one day or dare I say, LEGENDARY!!!

So party up as soon as possible! You don't want to be without a group!

#407341 BLG Profiles

Posted by Nightstalker on 14 June 2013 - 06:29 AM

I believe I have found my favourite guild member. I gotta ask though, are the guild members based on real people?

They are not actually based on real people. A couple of them are based off of characters that were from video games, but the rest are of my own creation.

#405887 Dwarven "Fury" Tank

Posted by Nightstalker on 08 June 2013 - 02:44 AM

While the kingdom of Faermoore does utilize smaller siege weapons like the "Boomer" its pride comes from this marvel of magic and black powder. The "Fury" siege tank is the primary siege weapon of the dwarfs. It utilizes a powerful cannon that is easily capable of toppling the strongest walls. The tank is operated by two: one driver and one cannon operator.

Back View

The driver uses a device to jump start the magestone, which gives this vehicle the ability to move. Once that is accomplished, the four levers can control backward, forward, and side to side movement through several connections which are built beneath the tank (not actually built out due to complications). Each magestone is capable of powering a tank for several hours before needing to be replaced. In the back is the cannon operator. Using the lever on the left (not seen in pic, but actually built) the cannon can be turned left and right. The red lever is responsible for firing, while the wheel in the center is responsible for loading additional rounds.

Just another dwarf built. I hope you all enjoy it.

Where'd you get that brown pouch, I like the looks of it?

I picked it up from bricklink, but they actually come from Indian Jones sets

#405617 BLG Profiles

Posted by Nightstalker on 05 June 2013 - 10:55 PM

BLG Profile: Kayla Swiftwind

After the BLG had been established, Kayla found herself being recruited because of her victories. Hailing from Northshire, she is a skilled swordsman and trap maker. Having hunted among the Nords, she is also very tough and naturally resistant against the cold. Generally, she has more of a neutral good alignment. Among the members of the BLG, she is by far the toughest woman; her strength and skill rivals many of the toughest men of the guild.
