Hey folks! My name is Nick! I really love building LEGO; I've been building since I was about 3 or 4 and my collection is only a couple years younger than myself. I enjoy building castle and mythic sci-fi builds. I just recently graduated from UMW with a BS in Computer Science; with any luck, you'll be seeing my builds rather frequently. Anyways, I've been inspired by so many builders and I always look to get better and better in building. Oh yeah! If you're ever curious, check out my Brickshelf Page at:http://www.brickshel...Nightstalker580. Hope you enjoy!

Stuff for the Scorpion Guard and King Scorp will be ordered this weekend along with the pieces to start the base of the build. Keep the minifig suggestions coming folks! I still have plenty of room to fill up!
As usual, let's cover the custom bits. First off, decals by Saber-Scorpion! Been meaning to order a set of these for a while. For those who don't know, they are based off of the Destiny 1 exotic chest piece, Heart of the Praxic Fire. The arms were based off of the Y1 Iron Banner Warlock set. Moving along, the loincloth is from Arealight Customs, the coat is from CapeMadness, and the gun is a prototype Brickarms Fusion Rifle. Yeah, that thing still isn't out, and it was made almost four years ago!
So, here Nightstalker goes again with this Order of the Holy Blade junk again. Aria is the leader of the Holy Blade. If her last name seems familiar it's because she's Fenix's super great descendant. Apart from being Champion of Leik, Aria also possesses the full power of the Dark Maiden. "Hey wait, up! Doesn't that mean she's..." Yep you guessed it, she's also related to Saleena Fale. I'll let you work that one out. Anywho, that witch/magic side of her can be seen by the distinct purple highlights in her hair. While I won't give away the story of how she got to this position, I will say that she is commonly referred to as, "The Last Light."
Nobleman Dalton (left) and Amanon (your other left).
Somehow recorded by a member of the FFA...
Arena Herald: "Sir, I've got good news!"
Arena Master: "We finally became sell outs!?"
AH: "Uh... no... we got a pre-order and another combatant!"
AM: "FANTASTIC!!! Another suck... I mean, another patron of our fine establishment! Who are they now?"
AH: "We've got Nobleman Dalton, who happens to be sponsoring this combatant, Amanon."
AM: "Never heard of either of 'em!"
AH: "I think Amanon slew a dark lord..."
AM: "Listen, I'll believe it when I see it in the arena. Do you know how many people claim they killed this and that..."
AH: "I mean, there was a cool mural of him in a newspaper..."
AM: "Whatever, just make sure they both get here safely! And that Nobleman better be rich! We don't let beggars and vagabonds in!"
Unique parts include BrickWarriors Spiked Vambraces, BrickWarriors Executioner's Axe, and an Arealight Customs Loincloth.
Hey! It's another person associated with the Maukr Marauders! Sooo... who is he? Blackholm was once a barbarian of the Highlands who joined the Maukr long before Necros took over. When Necros rose to power, Blackholm was chosen to execute those that stood against the warlock. Unfortunately for him, he was killed in an assault by one of the knight's of Korsven. Rather than let him go, Necros brought him back as a death knight. Now imbued with unholy magic, Blackholm carries out his master's vile will.
Alandra, The Curio Peddler
Surprisingly, no special parts used with this figure!
Alandra is a rather odd being. No one is quite certain where she comes from, or where she goes. Certain priests and paladins have sensed a demonic aura around her, but it is one that is unlike any demons of nightmare. Despite this, she is quite friendly. Her wares are also quite unique as well. A mix of valuable potions and legendary gear seem to end up in her possession. However, Alandra has no need for coin. Instead, she seeks unusual crystals, which have unknown properties.
She has no family, no demon kin, and no history. It's almost as though she doesn't exist.
Mercer Harun, Leader of the Crimson Blades
Weapon, shield, and headwrap by BrickWarriors. Shawl and waist cloth by Arealight Customs.
You got me on this one
Just a cool custom I came up with this week! Backstory is still in progress!
Lord Marcus Capulet
"I'm not certain who he is, or what he does. Most of it is just hear say. Rumors say that he hunts magic users. Other rumors say he polices a lair home to various scorpions and werewolves. And yet, other rumors say that he is an agent of discord. Honestly, I don't quite care; he looks cool, and he's a lord. Send him an invite! Let him enjoy a day of blood shed!"
I know I have absolutely no reason to be posting in the art section! But here me out on this one, because it's cool!
Among the many things on SSLF that I see are ads. We all hate 'em, especially me! However, on a random whim I decided to investigate one of them. That one link was for Hero Forge, a site where you can design your own miniatures. I played around with it for a bit, because it's a neat little site.
Then I showed my bro (who will be referred to as AfroMan)...
Let's just say, he took off with this and is loving this! It has given him a fun little hobby, and honestly, I rather like his work! So I figure, why not show you all, and hear some feedback!
While I won't give away who these people are or the stories behind them, I will say that are from a work of his own creation.
Now with that out of the way, I really like how this gun turned out. With the way it is currently designed, its wheels can roll and the two center barrels can be adjusted.
When designing the support frame, I wanted to make it nice and sturdy and give it a war feel. Additional armor with some pearl, gold, 1x1, round plates really helped add some meat to it. To top it off, gold harpoons were also added, even if they virtually have no purpose. Still looks pretty cool to me!
In order to make the gun slightly more ornate, I went ahead and added gold wings to the side. Again, no real purpose, just aesthetics. The wheels were pretty simple to make as well. I worked through multiple designs, but settled on this. In the end, it got the job done and still looks pretty good.
Just a view of the back, not really much to see here!
Here's the more interesting part about the frame. It's roughly split into 7 different sections: 2 wheels, 2 supports, 2 armor panels, and 1 set of spikes. They are all mounted on a Technic 8 Axle. If you look closely, you'll notice small gaps between each part. This allowed me to move the two supports around (which is where the gun is mounted) to fit the design of the organ gun. This method was pretty cheap, and didn't require any sacrifice of design. The only thing I had to worry about was making everything fit comfortably!
Still love DwalinF's barrel design. Honestly, its the fish part that does it for me. Awesome parts usage!
