Here's her preset if you (or anyone else) want to play as her. There's a handful of mods you'll need to get her to look the same though, all of them except the textures (SG Female Textures) should be listed in the preset.
Eeeeeeeeeh I'm gonna guess this is more because of the whole 'gambling' thing than out of any actual sudden desire to be more pro-consumer. That's a can of worms that could actually have affected their bottom line more than pulling the mictrotransactions, Especially if gaming commissions here in the US started sniffing around.
I expect we'll see microtransactions return in a month or so in more copacetic form. Gonna guess they'll remove the randomized lootbox element and go back to the traditional straight-up buy2win model.
If you buy it, you're endorsing their business practices. Doesn't matter if you wait for a sale, doesn't matter how loudly you complain about it. A purchase = endorsement. Period.
EA could not give less of a damn about all this negative press because the game is still selling. Everyone made a big deal about that Reddit post that got downvoted, but how much you wanna bet that at least half of the what...600,000 people who downvoted it still bought the game?
I get the feeling that nobody in EA management particularly likes or plays games.
This is actually true.
If you look at all the big names in EA upper management, they're suits. The current chairman used to work for Johnson & Johnson and Clorox, and the former CEO used to run Sara Lee and worked as the marketing director for Haagen-Dazs.
None of them have any particular interest in games beyond them being just another product to produce and sell.
but no shut up guys EA is totally actually good now and CD Projekt is the new bad guy
Did you even watch the vid though, or did you just yank it from YT because of the title? Really got to try better than that. CVH usually goes into length about the specific reasons he holds the opinion, and presents it in a way that the viewer is able to form their own, instead of adhere to his line of thinking.
If you'd watched the vid, despite his personal opinions, he admits that his biggest issue with Rebels it doesn't go far enough.
The rest of the criticisms he levels at it are sins that Avatar: The Last Airbender was guilty of. ATLA is now remembered as one of the greatest western animation shows of all time, a pioneer that is hailed responsible for the current Renaissance in American animation that has led to the likes of Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Bojack Horseman, and Rick and Morty. And you know what? One of the biggest criticisms that can be levied at ATLA is... It's a giant Star Wars homage. How about that? Rebels has much of ATLA's alumni, so it'd make sense that it would share DNA.
I did watch it. I actually don't agree with everything in it, mainly the gushing over Clown Wars, but everything else lines up with my own thoughts from my attempts to watch Rebels.
It's fantastic that you enjoy it. Doesn't make it any less Star Wars: Kids Meal Edition.
And it's noticeable you keep referring to one GIF to pass judgement, which I feel is unfair. That's like trying shoving Ewok GIFs down someone's throat anytime they try to say 'ROTJ is actually a good movie'
