[General Eliades]

In the small town of Oldsburg, it's easy to find friendly, quiet, and elderly people more than anywhere else. But in a few households, the influence of rock has seeped through to the children of the children of these elderly folk. Now that the kids are alright and ready, all they need to do is form a band. They all go (went) to the same high-school, go to the same classes, and and buy from the same Record and Music Store, but they've never formally known one another. All it took was one sign:

"RHYTHM GUITARIST IN SEARCH OF THE MORE NECESSARY MEMBERS!! Call: 555-731-7834 and show up for band auditions @ 863 Formal Ave."

And so it began.....

You are a soul believer in the power of rock n' roll, whether or not you play an instrument or like working behind the stage, and you want to be in this band to escape the conformity of your parents and neighbors. Once you form this band, you'll hold your first rehearsal to tick off the elderly neighbors, earn some fans and start a revolution in Oldsburg. Then you'll have to get a van, a manager, and a decent setlist to play at small concerts. Soon you'll be in the recording studio, playing at stadiums, and maybe groupies if you're into that sorta thing.

The rhythm guitarists name is Danny Rickelhause, and he needs:

Can you each provide? Fill out his application papers he has in a manilla folder stapled to the other side of the power-line he used to display the ad. Then, display your creative talents by depicting yourself in a phone conversation with Danny (who is an average awkward 17 year old just getting rid of his acne and about to get his first girlfriend, for reference on how he might be portrayed). Bio: I was born here in Oldsburg, just like most kids here. I love playing videogames, but even more I love playing the guitar. I have no interest in taking the spotlight as lead guitarist however, as I'm sure someone out there is more deserving of it. I'm a lover of most rock genres, and what I don't like I come to appreciate in the end. I look forward to working with a very awesome band!

Bio: "Well, I came to Oldthville about two yearth ago, when I wath a Junior in high thchool. I didn't have many friendth, but that wath okay. I wath thtill in the loop with all my buddieth over in Loth Angeleth, and they were telling me how they all had jobth already. And I wath like 'Oh my gosh, you guyth, what happened to being free forever?'. And they were like 'We needed cash, we need to work, blah blah blah.'. Favorite Bands: "I'm mostly into the older rock generation - the Beatles, the Stones, and even some blues and folk guys like Bob Dylan. Along with Michael Jackson, Simon and Garfunkel, Stevie Wonder, Johnny Cash, Queen, Elvis, and Pink Floyd.
Bio: "I wanted to learn an instrument to be like all the other guys a couple of grades ahead of me. This was in middle school now, and so my mom bought me a $5 harmonica which broke within a couple of days. It became the thing that would always be in my pocket, that I'd play at birthdays and stuff. I'd heard a little bit of Bob Dylan from my dad, who has some old records. At that point I'd began to feel to urge to play both the harmonica and guitar, as well as singing. I wasn't too good on it, but with practice I was alright. I was still a little guy, and I didn't hang out much, so I was always isolated in my room everyday after school (which was a disaster). Later, though, I started playing for the fellas at reccess at school, and people started to notice me. That of course encouraged me, so I took it upon myself to be pro. I'm still not, but you know, I think I'm getting close. Lately I've been starting to write songs... Nothing super-serious, I just prefer to play my own music to something that so many people in the world know."

Alright guys, I have a problem on my hands: I want all of you in the band.

My solution to this problem is this: If all goes well with this RP, I might have a spin off for a metal or punk version. My original idea for this version would be conglomerating people regardless of what bands or genres they enjoyed. This doesn't work 95% percent of the time in real life, and plus I think it'd be a better experience for those who'd rather live the life of a metal band than a rock n' roll band. If any of you think this is a good idea or bad idea, and if you would like to save your metal-loving character for the next RP, please say so, because I like all of your sign-ups, and I don't want to discourage anyone (what can I say, I love too much). I think it would be fun to explore those different bands in different genres.

Yeah; I 'spose you can drop me if you want, since my guy is more of a metal guy anyways. The only thing I wouldn't like about this is that most of the people who signed up for this one are really awesome RPers who probably don't like metal, and won't sign up for the other, leaving me with less experienced, or maybe just worse people overall. And I'm not saying they will be worse, but just most likely. Oh well.
