Played SUPERHOT I highly recommend it, it's the most innovative shooter I've played in years. Be warned, it is short though, you can beat the main game in 2 hours or so

That's just what the message says at the end of the credits. It instructs players to tell everyone it's the most innovative shooter they've played in years, but do not say too much and do not reveal the nature of the system. ;P

They should get Frank Miller to write a new Doom comic, but don't tell him it's a joke

The point is you need someone insane enough to sincerely try to 1-up the Doom comic, any sane artist would be far to tongue-in-cheek when writing a new Doom comic

I don't think he'd ever do it. There aren't any hookers in Doom.

Dr. Dood von Doodstormer
You guys seem to think Frank Miller is concerned with accurately interpreting the universes and characters he uses like there would totally be hookers in Doom if he wrote a comic

Also, bear in mind the original themes are only so memorable because, in large part, due to their repetition over the entire franchise. By the end of IX, I can guarantee themes such as Poe's and Kylo's (which are good, just hardly-used and deliberately under-developed respectively) will stand out a lot more

I'm not so sure, because even songs that didn't get repeated through out the saga, such as the Anakin vs. Obi-Wan theme, and it's variations thereof, stand out to me as utterly beautiful, and I have no love for the prequels in the slightest, in fact I disliked them even more when I most recently rewatched them(which is only the second time for 2 and 3). Yet all the same, the music stood out to me immediately, where as every attempt to listen to the music of TFA, I just bounce off...

Eh, I do see that to an extent, but a theme isn't just designed to be memorable, but to represent a character and subsequently be moulded and integrated into the world around them. I do agree that (Rey's theme aside) there isn't anything as memorable as TIM, DotF etc, BUT I do think these themes nevertheless work extremely well for what they are, and will be remembered clearly after the trilogy is concluded. Plus, I would actually see this new soundtrack as a step up from the Pr...
