Well there is also WiiU Chat. I assume WiiU Chat will be universal with keyboard built into the gamepad touch screen interface for typing. No details yet other than confirmation that its marked on the boxes for WiiU.
Wii U tablet controller's built-in mic will NOT be usable for in-game voice chat and Nintendo will not be making a headset for it, so Wii U owners will have to shell out $40 for a third-party headset if they want to make use of voice chat in online games.
Also, the Pro Controller will not have a headset port, so if you want to use it to play your online shooters, you'll need to sit the tablet next to you or on your lap or something with the headset plugged into it.
They could also go wireless with their headset. I assume that is what they are aiming at with WiiU headsets. Unless they are playing more than 10 hours a day. Depending on the headset some last up to 10 hours with charge. Maybe more or less I don't know. Which honestly should be enough for anyone. Possibly Nintendo is doing this to keep the verbal abuse down on online networks.
Don't know if you guys have seen the new Bioshock trailer. Looks awesome.
Also they are giving you a free puzzled based flash game if you pre-order Bioshock Infinite. That unlocks in-game content. Check it out!
