Let's start this off on the East Coast... Anyone going to BrickFair 2011?

(I started this topic to group up all the misjointed convention topics that get no attention. Hopefully this will be better...)

Brickfair 2011 will be awesome!!!

I went last year and loved it :) . Can't wait to see the fantasy/medieval section and the post-apoc stuff. Not to mention, supposedly there will be brickarms protos for sale this year.

And it's only 2 weeks away (roughly)

There's STEAM; which is an upcoming event that takes place in Swindon, Gloucestershire. It's an annual event, and as such more information can be found on their site here. There's also AFOLcon, which was in Manchester back in April. I had the luck of being able to attend AFOLcon earlier this year, as well as being able to attend STEAM later this year.

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure that there are major ****Cons in most countries.

I'm trying to make it there. The next few months are going to be pretty busy for me, so I might not make it.

I wish I could go to one. I think that would be soooo great. But my family is kind of a stay at home kinda family, thanks to our menagerie of horses, goats, chickens, geese, rabbits, dogs, cats, reptiles, and bees. <_<

Not to mention I'm the only one in my family who really has an interest in LEGO. That probably has a lot to do with it.

When I'm 18 I'll probably go to any I can, but... until then I doubt it'll happen.
