Well after asking Werewolf, I decided to start this topic. She said I could.
Ok here's the deal. You give suggestions and ideas to the creators (Werewolf and Saber-Scorpion). Please don't get of topic or Werewolf and her team of Mods will close this thing down. Please submit ideas here. Such as, creatures, gods, gangs, guilds, legendary heroes, and anything else you can think of. Please don't suggest changes to the story line of Legend of the Five. That could upset the Werewolf. That was a joke. Ok so it wasn't that funny. Not every one has the humor of Bomm. Yes, that was another joke.

Ok if you are wondering were all my bright ideas are I'll say this. They're not done yet.

So post your ideas, no geographic ideas yet, not until the map is done. So please submit your ideas here and pray that they will be used at some point.

I've got some stuff. On the subject of maps, a while back I drew up a map for Asieth, but kinda scrapped the whole idea. It's been left blank, only the landmasses (in tan) and the seas (in brown) are left with latitude/longitude gridlines and a compass. It's Wolfy's to use if she wants it...

Legendary heroes? Interesting, might write up something, if I have the time later. That map was all I had for input right now.

There is a difference though.

The animals don't deserve to be killed.

I heard lizards have pre-marital sex. Bunch of moral-free cold bloods just sleeping their way through life if you ask me. They deserve it.

'Tis alright, Dos. Thank you for your offer - I gotta say, it's an awesome map - but Justin and I have already laid out the basic terrain a few times on previous, I guess you could say WIP maps, so we're going to use that same shape and design when we make a new one for the site. wink.gif

Oh, oh! I SO have a hero.

A dragon slayer. The one who wiped out most of them, though his name was lost through history. Only a sword is left of him. biggrin.gif

Yeah. that's, like, a guy from my WIP fantasy universe. But he seemed more Wylfgard-ish. tongue.gif

An ancient Dwarven empire from a really long time ago.

A lich (are they included in Wylfgard?) Overlord of the north named Kostchei (mythologically acurate due to the fact that Kostchei was a demon in North Slavic mythology which is also where I got my username).

An underground society of mages.

Seriously, Liches are awesome. The only thing wrong with having a Lich in Wylfgard is that magic is rare in Wylfgard, though that would only make the Lich seem even more powerful and unstoppable (as all Liches should be). I dunno though, you could come up with some explanation as to why he has never before been discovered, and that there are only legends of his existence. Like, maybe the Dwarves buried him in the mines long ago with the help of various kings of other races or something, and now he only dwells in the dark, unreachable spaces of the mines, slowly becoming more and more powerful.

Yeah, I like Liches. biggrin.gif

Yes they are. But just because magic is rare that doesn't mean it's nonexistant. And yeah I like the idea of him being burried in a mine that's all haunted and what not.

You know what would be cool? It's so cliche but whatever.

An Assassin guild. But not like "Random guy looks around sees assassin recruiter and joins." that sucks. BADLY. it could be kinda like (for those of you who have played kotor 1) The Genoharadan. For everyone else the Genoharadan is,well was, a elite Assassin's guild that didn't exist. But they were there.
They made political assassinations that were very low profile. If they killed someone they made it look as if their target died naturally or in an accident or by somebody else's hand. And even when a member talked about them everyone thought that they were crazy and when the guild found out they would dissapear. But only to that member, they would still be there but that member would never find them again. And the operatives never knew each other so no one could go and talk to another member or compromise him. Even the higher ranks used middle men to talk to members an the members also used middle men so no one really knew who was who. Only the very well informed, the senate and some higher ranking officials knew of them and even then they denied their existence to the death. Since they were so unknown they could infiltrate anywhere without arousing suspicion. And they looked normal, no weird uniforms or anything.

In Wlyfgard it could kinda be like Assassin's Creed. It would be soo cool and since they have such a low profile they come anytime in whatever story and whenever. If it does come out in Wlyfgard can I have a guy named after me?

Wiped out most of them? I never said dragons were 'wiped out,' they're just REALLY REALLY SUPER RARE, and they're EXTREMELY hard to kill, and they're rarely ever seen by humans...

Eh; I never really saw dwarves as having empires - they mostly live in clans and keep to themselves (except when it comes to mining - if something gets in their way when they're mining, they'll tear it apart! Like goblins - they hate goblins)...

Overlord of the North? That wouldn't work... but yeah, liches exist in Wylfgard, but they're practically unknown to everybody but the wise and learned, especially mages and such, and so few have ever been known that they're thought to just be a myth.

*shrug* Don't really have much to say about that one. I guess Justin and I really need to release information on the mage groups we've already created (and we've had created for a while; since before we announced Wylfgard at all).

Heheh, I see. tongue.gif Well, like I told Kostchei, liches are in Wylfgard but are extremely rare and unknown to most, and even some who do have an idea of what they are believe them to be only myths.
If you do read the LotF series (which I hope you all will tongue.gif ), I think I can guess what your favorite book will probably be, when I write 'n' publish it. tongue.gif th_shiftyninja.gif

It's Wylfgard, Okularis - WYLFGARD, as in Wylfgard, not Wlyfgard or whatever. wink.gif

Who says there aren't already groups of assassins out there? ph34r.gif Yeah, I know we haven't gotten much info out about the groups and such yet, but Justin and I are planning to make a sort of assassin group (I won't call them 'guild' because it's actually very inappropriate), but rest assured, it wouldn't be in any way cliche or somesuch like the silly Dark Brotherhood or some crap. laugh.gif So far, though, the only assassins I've ever written about in Wylfgard (one very specifically) work totally alone, with no connections to any kind of 'allies' or group.
As for it being like Assassin's Creed, well, I wasn't terribly fond of that game, so...

No,no when I meant assassins creed I meant that they look the same or something. You know the robes, Da hood, the cool weapons, the uber awsome moves...
And no when I wrote the other post I meant This: The Genoharadan don't know anybody. They only know the guy who gives them the targets. and they have to follow it without doubt cause if not, well you know what happens to assassins who don't follow orders. You never joined the Genoharadan in KOTOR? They give you some pretty sweet stuff. Course I cheat and get all the good stuff at the beginning. tongue.gif
And of course not Guild.Too Cliche. I just took that from sywbaa.

"No Guild has the right to kill kill people here in..."
"*Psst*! Ahem-hem!"
"Well, unless they happen to be in the Assassins Guild and have a approved contract."

And sorry for rityng incorrectyl Wylfgard. YAY me say write!

Well, the only thing I'd really want different would be the pantheon. I just can't get behind Thor and stuff, it's far too conflicting for my tastes. Of course, that's never going to change, so it's a moot point.

In a more useful set of suggestions, I'd be interested in some epic tales of old. Like Dos said, legendary heroes that once trekked the land, slaying evil and doing good. Avatars of the gods or something.

I'd totally write a fan fic of that. In fact ... *trails off with thoughts*

Well, now that I have time to put some ideas down...

Gods. The Vampires, do they have God(s)? Perhaps a Blood God they worship, something like Bhaal or Myrkul from the Forgotten Realms. As for names, I was thinking something in Latin that relates to blood or bleeding.

I didn't hear much on Demons or Half-Demons, perhaps going into that a bit, that is, if there is Demons in Wylfgard.

And now a cult suggestion. It ties in with the Vampires and Demons. The cult is named the Order of the Red River, made up of Vampires who worship a living mortal who they believe is either the mortal offspring, or the reincarnation of their God. This mortal is responsible for a great score of death and killing, who arises during wars, bringing with him a score of murder. The mortal happens to be in actuality, a cannabilistic Demon. Rituals of worship involve the slaughtering of mortals and the living into an underground river (in their sanctum of worship) which they make run red with blood, hence the name of the cult.

Is it possible to submit personal characters for Wlyfgard here too?

There is a difference though.
