They would only turn against Boss B if Boss A ordered them to.

Actually, the Aero-walker is the standard Sarran combat walker. Smaller than human designs and carrying lighter ams and armor. However the Aero-walker is capable of extended periods of flight and is in fact semi-transformable. The Sarran prefer to use these walkers en-mass to engage the enemy, making up for the lighter weaponry.

That's pretty much the jist of it. I found the information on the Natives page with Sarran technology. I asked about it because my faction would use a similiar idea, only for space combat (becaue nobody expects eighty small and nimble walkers/hardsuits suddenly attacking your ship with missiles and Nuclear mines smile.gif )

Edit: Volen, thanks for expanding on that (I didn't think to because I was going to fast)

I just read something about fan-fictions becoming canon, and I was curious: if I send you the plot of Ray's story (which I have begun work on - it's ALREADY better, which is kind of sad, lol) will you do me a favor and canonize it for me, if there are any errors? I've changed Ray's history to something less... well, stupid, and I really think you'll like it. Also, after checking over the story plot, can you let me know if Ray's history and the history of E'Oveai Rho are still canon?

Ah so they are more like large powered exoskeleton than a walker itself. Hmm I just wonder, what about the Mahlok, since in the novarefuge.com website there is a concept design for the Mahlok's walker

Sort of. More like napalm energy blasts than bullets.

Heres what I guess it looks like (Link) I actually own the game so I imediatly knew.
Oh and I have some new questions.

1. When I was reading the History page I noticed that in the last bit of info I saw that Amy Archer's name was blue does that mean she is working for Victory?

2. What stage are the Slashrim technologicly speaking?

3. Since some factions are alied with each other (Xarkon and Zygbar V.S. Victory and Yavakaro) would they fight side side by side in the battlefield or not usually?

4. Does Zigbar or Yavakaro have a Super Soldier project? If so what are they called?

Thank you

2) I've always been confused as to what constitutes a "capital ship" myself, to be honest. It seems to vary from sci-fi universe to sci-fi universe. Can one of the other readers enlighten me? I know you're out there, Ter... tongue.gif

Ask and you shall receive mon capitan! A capital ship is (simply put) the biggest, meanest, toughest, and therefor most valuable ship in any fleet or area, though for entire navies the term is typically reserved for Dreadnoughts, Battleships, large Carriers, Battlecruisers, and in the case of sci-fi space combat "Battlestars" (i.e.: Battleship/Carrier hybrids). Authors do tend to change it from time to time, but the general consensus in both fiction and real life is that Cruisers, Escorts, Submarines, and patrol ships are left out of the term.

Alrighty, a few questions from a fan trying to get back into Nova Refuge!

1 - You said that things like nuclear weapons and chemical weapons are big no-no's. But I had forgotten if that applied to ALL WMD's or just those particular ones. Are there any WMD's developed or used by any of the Big Four, and if so, are they used on planets for the bombing of bases and stuff, or in space combat against ships?

2 - HPG weapons are powered by electricity, which makes it vulnerable to EMP's and stuff. Would anybody go far enough to actually make it so EMP's render their enemy's weapons useless? And if not, would it be a moral sort of thing, or just a practicality?

3 - Speaking of morals: A lot of the humans (well, at least the more civilized humans and their leaders) in Nova Refuge are honorable and have strict morals. Does this come from a sort of "we were almost brought to extinction, we have to better ourselves to leave a better legacy" thing, or a "now that there are aliens, we have to prove humans aren't just despicable rascals". Very general, but I just want to know which direction it comes from.

4 - Well, I have a lot of questions, but I can't think of any specific ones right now. Lemme get back to you on that.

Looks nice, good job! I'm glad you guys like that little bit of artwork so much. I really should post more artwork than I do...

As for your question about Jade, yes, I do want to post a picture for her... or at least her armor. There is at least one picture of her armor in a chapter header drawing in Warrior Born though. Maybe you should buy the book! biggrin.gif

I beg to differ that every video game needs zombies, but if you're asking what the closest thing would be in Nova Refuge... hmm... uhh... I'm not sure. I haven't introduced anything zombie-like. I don't much care for zombies. tongue.gif

1. They saved many animals, and in fact there were several organized efforts to do so. Some got loose and have disrupted the local habitat and become dominant in the wild, while others exist only in zoos and preserves.

2. I haven't made up any illegal drugs yet, but you're free to do so. Just be sure to think of a catchy name, and let me know what it is. Maybe I'll use that in an crime-based story I've been working on...

Yeah that armor you made looks awesome. I made decals of the photoshopped version but were low on ink and i only have a horrible camera to take pictures(my cellphone takes better ones XD )

I'm soon going to try to get them.

I knew you would say something like that but skrakki could do a good job.

1. I don't know what to say except that hopefully the human race thought about leaving those poor animals to be wiped out by the explosion of the sun.

2. Hmmm.... i'm not good with coming up with names but coming up with different effects would be cool.

One question i thought of, 1. Are there any new sports in NR either physical(soccer, basketball etc.), mental(as in chess etc.) or mechanical(racing etc.)?

EDIT: another question i thought about, 2. for a while in your shop it said posters but then disappeared what happened

EDIT(again): 3. Where can i find the warbringer comic? i can't seem to find it. did you remove it or something?

EDIT(yes, again): 4. What do you think of the mahlok i made?(it's in my gallery)

EDIT(i've done a lot of edits): I finally got around to buying the book but i'll have to wait until my father receives it and sends it to france(his company pays for the shipping ;D )

EDIT(what do i do to many edits?):
5. Are wheeled vehicules like motorcycles or quads still in use or do they hover?
6. Are there hardsuits in Nova Refuge(like robot suits but not large robots)?

there my 6 questions are asked, no more edits!

I've got a couple of questions:

1) Do the Big 4 and Harmony and Helexith have asteroid bases, either for mining, or for military purposes, or for any other reason for that matter?

2) How does artificial gravity work on a ship?

I'm going to be annoying and ask one more itty bitty question; no worries, though, this is just a date question. What year does The Takeover of Mordark take place in?

EDIT: Also, is a Nova Refuge year longer or shorter than ours? If so, do you have a calendar set up with months and days, or do we stick with the same old months with a few extra days on each (or less) or whatever?

Personal theory that has absolutely no canonical validity whatsoever at this moment: Since each inhabited planet would have a different length for days and years, it seems safe to assume that for standardize galactic time humans would just keep using the Georgian calendar (or whatever's in place when the sun goes boom) and a different calendar for each planet to tell local time. None of the dates/times from Warrior Born that I remember would contradict this.

And on that subject, Scorp you asked in an earlier topic if I had any ideas/suggestions for Terra Nova's day/year? Maybe a 32 hour day with 360 days a year would work (fewer days, but the 8 extra hours more than make up for it in terms of overall length). Just my thoughts anyway.

Someone asked the same question, and i responded:

A Terra Novian day would last about 28-32 hours since Terra Nova is larger than Earth so it takes more time to spin on it's axis.

A Terra Novian Year would last about 400-600 Days since New Sol has a larger mass than Terra Nova but smaller than the sun so Terra Nova doesn't have to spin around as fast around New sol as the Earth had to spin around the Sun.

Hey Scorp.

My questions are:

What factions are at war with what factions?

Do some factions ever form alliances with others? (e.g. Xarkon forming an alliance with Zygbar)

Xarkon has Enomegs, Victory has Immortal Soldiers, Yavakaro has Shadow Ops and hands of the six, Grimm's Army has Aerials,
Helixith has Infernals, And Harmony has Knights of the Temple. Is Zygbar working on a super soldier project?

1. Xarkon+Grimm's Army+Zygbar-at war with-Victory+Yavakaro.
2. *read above equation"
3. Not quite sure, I'll let Scorp handle that one.

1. Many craft feature solar cells as back up power-supply systems, but none rely on it exclusively. Thanks to the fusion power of energite crystals, that's really all they need.

I don't know if this is exactly practical even as a backup, seeing as even a very efficient solar panel that could be fitted on a rifle or similar, would not in any capacity be capable of producing the kind of energy that even a small fusion reactor would be capable of.
