I know Dense was the first to actually recieve his copy, but who was the first to ACTUALY buy it? Because I believe I was. Within a minute of the release I was on the purchase screen. If I was not the first, then I am definately in the first 10.

It's funny how most of these questions are for things I haven't decided myself... I'd say you could keep a StarTalon running for at least a few days non-stop, but they are usually only turned on when needed, and of course actually using the blade to cut something drains the energy and gas faster.

2. I just use "plastic explosives." tongue.gif Maybe you could call it a higher number like C7 or something... biggrin.gif
3. Nothing I'm involved with. It's probably just various members speculating about the possibility of a video game mod based on Nova Refuge, potentially using valve's Source engine.
4. You mean in my name? Randolph. tongue.gif

1- OK, sorry for the first question, it just poped up.
2- C7 eh... I could create some highly volitile chemical compound in solid form with doubble+ the power of C4 (or some other way other than a chemical compound) for you.
3- Ah, thats it, I just googled it before you posted tongue.gif
4- Randolph, cool.

1. Don't mind me asking, but do you know why your middle name is Randolph?

I've been meaning to ask this for a while but usually put it off. Has Scorp explained how/fixed the fact that the Galaxy of Nova Refuge is held together with only a sun in the middle? Only a supermassive black hole has a gravitational well large enough to hold a galaxy together. If this has been answered then... oops. SHRUGS.

QUOTE (Loki @ Jun 27 2009, 04:40 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Well Nova Core is described as the most immense supergiant star ever discovered, and as far as I can remember the whole "black hole at the center of the galaxy" theory hasn't been proven (I could be wrong about that). Personally, I wouldn't find it too hard to believe that a galaxy could be held together simply by the mutual gravitational attraction of all of its stars. After all, that's how smaller star clusters are formed.

But again, I'm not entirely sure. *shrug*

Edit: And Scorp, this has been bugging me ever since I finished Warrior Born. I don't want to say anything spoilerish, but if you were to take a wild guess about how much of each nations' military was present at the climax? I just can't shake the feeling that this is a case of SciFi Writers Have No Sense Of Scale...

Lets let Scorp decide how the Nova Core's gravitational effect works, shal we? If we keep on arguing, no one will have their questions answered.

I love all the brown nosing going on in here. It's so cute.

I thought it was a good book, much better than G3M4. It had it's flaws here and there, as everything is bound to have, but the best book ever? I think that may be a bit of an over-statement.

And Dragon, the book is about Saber-Scorpion so obviously it's going to include Scorp, seeing as how he is the author and Saber-Scorpion is his avatar. Would you rather have had Warrior Born be about some random Joe?

What? I didn't mention anything about old Joe, OR the book focusing on anyone other than Scorp. Keep in mind the ACTUAL book title: The Legend of Saber-Scorpion (or TLOSS), so it is obviously going to focus on the events of Scorp's life.

P.S. Don't take the mick out of Joe! He has feelings to, if he were human.

I agree totaly, as I also take my time to read (But I did finish it rather quick). Heres my quick review:

Warrior Born may start off a bit boring, but the further you read, the further into the Enomegs you dig. Scorp has managed to capture emotion and action, he expresses the feelings of the Enomeg's, gives you a picture of the area and the characters in your mind, and he manages to entice the reader, making him/her unable to stop reading (I had many sleepless nights and sleepfull school days).

In short...er terms, 10/10, no wait, 11/10. If you havent read it, Why not?

I will just say... PLEASE STOP MAKING YOUR LIBRARY ORDERING HIS BOOKS!!!! He is Self-Publishing them... That means if you ordering so much of them THEN HE WILL NOT HAVE SO MUCH OF THEM TO THE PRIVATE READERS!

I have the book by myself HEHE!

How much hours or time did it exactly or just circa took you?

Well, Im not the worlds fastest reader, as I like to read at speaking pace so I can remember it clearly instead of skimming. I also did this because I was reading in awe, it would be an offence to skip read this book, I also had a bit of overdue homework and late nights doing it because of this. What?... Oh, the question. To pe honest I don't know exactly how long it took, as my mind kind of goes into another dimension when Im reading or on SSLF.

Oh yea, almost forgot. DON'T, repeat DON'T get your library to order this. Scorp is seling it to us because we took the time to create an account of his site and pay him, what money does he get from a library? Also, if I find one of these on Ebay, youl know who it is staring you down at gunpoint when you next wake up.

You MUST get this book. It took me only a few days to read, and I dont think that anything can compare to it. I felt like I was there, watching the Earth be consumed, observing as the Enomegs trained, like I was there, fighting in the many battles (WARNING: SPOILER(will use spoiler cover for those who havent yet read this masterpiece)) and that final line, The ultimate war had begun. It leaves it at the biggest clifhanger I have ever seen, ITS SO BIG ITS BIGGER THAT NEW SOL! Metaphoricly (is that how its spelt?), obviously. For those of you that havent read it, It will revolutionise your life.

P.S. Did I mention it was amasing?
