So...do you guys still...PLAY WITH YOURS LEGOS? I do, and man it is always fun. I'm playing with my new pirate set right now and I love it. It's the classic tale of adventures between pirates and the navy, good vs. evil. So far, my pirates have escaped the deserted island, but they forgot the treasure! Oh the fun this brings to me. So do you guys still play, or do you just collect and customize?

I still do and goody me i saved a new thread smile.gif I always play with my legos atleast once a week just creating and lucky me i just got the:
7649 MT-201 Ultra-Drill Walker which was originally 70 euros which i got for 50 euros since there having a sale and i'm having a blast with it! It is worth 50 but not 70 and don't trust the image, it's huge in reall life i can put it on top of my head and make a hat out of it tongue.gif There are many features like two detachable ship and the spinning ultra drill moving legs etc... anyway, yes i do still play with my legos because no matter what age someone is most people who buy legos don't stop.
However most of the legos i owned were soon destroyed afterwards, the longest sets i've keep undestroyed besides my two racers that i never really played with on the top of my shelves is my Dwarves mine which got destoyed about 2 days ago because of the stupid system the shelves work but i was able to nearly keep undestroyed is the orc(sorry, troll!) siege tower(which i don't undestand why orcs would come to save just one?)
Most of the sets i have stay with me for a day which i bring everywhere in the house with me and do stuff with it like a mission with my new ulrta driller!

Zero, admit it...you have a huge adventure to treasure island that will then take you to mount doom. lol, that's actually a good idea.

I don't think they're for sale since:
-i'm in France
-This thing dates back to 2008 ohmy.gif
-it was on sale

Yeah it is huge, and has a lot ot slopes and cheese(god i needed those and i got plenty) and this thing is staying as it is for it's pure awesomeness.
I just love every aspect of it, the feet(which have these rubber pieces so it doesn't fall if it is tipped on something, the huge feet the ultra driller the detachable ship, the huge water tank, the alien commander is rather cool(instead of those ugly other ones) and the thing is a nice build. I build rather fats and this thing did take more than an hour and i hurt my back from leaning over so much while making it(i still even feel the pain a little and i made it about 2-3 hours ago. And the build is fun except for the legs which you do 4 times but still have an interesting design. This thing is worth 50 not 70 like i said before.
It's probably the coolest set i have ever had(that i can remember of) I think this is the largest lego set i got in my whole entire life. never have i bought a lego that was more than 50 euros(almost never and very rare was it i had a 50$ one)
This set just leaks epicness and is so huge, all pictures of it do no justice in it's size. When i first bought it, it seemed like a horribly small high priced set, how was i wrong!
And i don't even need that alien space ship to have fun, the walker is just awesome by itself, a must-have for any true fan of lego who likes sci-fi

I haven't bought a LEGO set since last year. I don't really care for Star Wars or other themes that much, either, seeing as how they're overpriced compared to the same amount of parts in a City set.

There's nothing like making a Kirk minifig yell at a Spock minifig - even if they are currently lacking decals, since they're under development.
"You're going down there - are you nuts? Spock, you can't do that! SPOCK!"

...

Or making a ship fly through the house or something. tongue.gif I still play with my LEGOs sometimes, although not as much as I used to (nor with my brothers). But I still do it sometimes.

Hmm....I do play with my legos, but not as much as I used to. Like I have a friend that has tons of legos and we pulled all nighters just building legos. Man, those were the days.

I mess around with my LEGOs a lot. Play, if you will. I get a kick out of it. Grabbing whatever figs I'm into at that moment, I'll start a little game, sometimes with my brothers, sort of an RP. We just get all sorts of base-plates... build up a bar, and turn on the bar-fight. It's pretty fun, despite how childish it may seem. It gives me some creative ideas, though. tongue.gif

Nope. I can't find any fun in it anymore, when with whatever form of Lego's they are, I just express it in a better way, like drawing, or writing, or just imagining. Having to build all of it, (Which will never be perfect), only to have it break is just infuriating. Also, my minifigures can never depict something perfect either, and nothing is ever as great as it was.

I used to, but not anymore. Wore off.

Yes, I still play with my LEGO's. That's what they're ment for, and that's how I use 'em. And most of the time it's more fun than making a comic, or making a MOC.

I never play with LEGO anymore, I've lost my passion. I may not play with them, but I'm bloody well not giving them up either.

Of course I play with my LEGO! Of course, there's no way I'm burdening my girlfriend with the sight of them tongue.gif Nobody knows! Shhh! th_shiftyninja.gif

Especially when I remember that I have every Brick-Arms gun ever released! Yes, even the G36 and that Sniper they took off.

I still do, sorta...
Well, mainly with Technic Lego, really. And then only to make nice looking MOCs.
Talking about MOCs, has anybody else ever managed to get a proper-looking armor suit on a Rahk-shi
(Or however you write it, lost the boxes) frame?
Because I have, and it took me days to figure out a good way. It sort of impairs the movement... but I'm trailing.
I would still fully play with my lego's, its just that I need nice looking vehicles and buildings to get into it, and plain
and simply, I'm not good enough for my own taste. tongue.gif

P.S.
I really love making minifigs, though. And I still do it, making my own decals and stuff.
