It's pretty much the most metal thing ever.

I'd type out a really long intro-thingy, but I'm too lazy and the topic is pretty self explanitory. So, what's the greatest lego theme of all time? (Please refrain from two or three word answers)...

+1 vote for the Exploriens, Aquazone, Ice Planet, and maybe UFO, while we're at it!

The New Indiana Jones sets really are great. They have great pieces, great figs, and great themes.
I'm Ackbar, btw.

I got 100%

I said it before, and I'll say it again. Orient Expedition was absolute win.

Although it was essentially lego's Indiana Jones knockoff, it really was one of the more long lived themes. The characters like Johnny Thunder and Sam Sinister have been in several other sets and lego videogames. Orient is special to me because of the awesome temples.

Adventurers, followed by Indiana Jones. Star Wars is nice, but I really liked Res-Q and X-Treme. The oldies who brought out the cool stuff. Like Zip-line and stuff. Now that was cool.

My votes would have to go with the Adventure's theme, the older Star Wars ones, and the current Castle line.

It's a shame I was too young to acknowledge the true power of the Ninja theme. Should've bought WAY more sets.

I had all the Ninja sets. I was the king. So, put that on the list.

And Rock Raiders. Cause, I never, ever got drill pieces after that series. sad.gif

And Studio! Cause, they had such variety since they were all fake movie sets.

Adventurers, probably. Also: Adventurers > Orient Expedition > Indiana Jones. Ninja and OLD Castle were pretty good, also.

Definetly Star Wars or Indiana Jones. I hate the new Star Wars: The Clone Wars sets though. ...they all have freaky faces.

Oh, and there's meant to be a new theme- 'Power miners'- coming soon. Something to do with Rock monsters (not the ones from Rock raiders) that eat crystals..... blink.gif

Amen to that. I never got any old pirates. Or did I? I've found some old flintlocks and blunderbusses but no pirate figs. blink.gif

They're ripping off their own themes!

You can't rip off what's already yours. They're "revitalizing" them.

Which is exactly what they should do. No one would pay money for something they've already owned. Unless they're chumps.

Are you kidding!? Lots of people would love to have the chance to own the sets they remember from when they were kids again! I'm considering a few different ones at the moment as a Christmas present; the Exploriens Mothership, the UFO Warp Wing Fighter, the Aquazone Stingray Stormer, and I plan to keep collecting classics. While it's fine if they take inspiration from older themes, I think they should re-release all the classics periodically. All the original colors, parts, stickers, etc., even if they had to re-make certain colors and molds.

Lol, back on topic.
Adventurers, hands-down.
Although Agents are cool, and the new Castle sets are great.
The original Knights Kingdom wasn't half bad either.
And Rock Raiders. What a gem. wink.gif

I can't wait for the new version of Cowboy's. I wonder what politically correct changes they'll institute. rolleyes.gif

Psst. The Cowboys was a good theme. It had like, 4 factions. That's whats up.
