Ware are the dots? On the back or some place else?

They're on the very bottom of the packaging, little raised dots.

...

I told you in the original post. They're dots printed onto the backs of the small green bags the minifigures come in at the store.

Oh, sorry I didn't see that you said ware they were, but the dot patterns in the 2 different links don't match up, which 1 do we trust?

Yes they do. It's just on the chart, one colour of dots is on one side of the packaging and the other colour is o nthe other side. Also, the black dots in the second pic aren't there normally, the dots are actually little raised circles.

Perhaps I should have mentioned what Buddha said. I had to figure it out when I bought my figs a couple weeks ago.

I just bot the Prince of Persia Desert Ambush and the Space Police Freeze Ray Frenzy(I have no idea why its called that), they were $4 each from Fred Meyers and my Dad bot the Log Cabin, I love having a Dad that loves LEGO's just as much as I do, but it seems that Fred Meyers is the only store to find LEGO's anymore, since ToysRus is like a 2 hour drive plus the $10 increase in price, and Target well now that I think of it I haven't been there in awhile, and Walmart never has anything!!!!

Prince of Persia - They're not new, but you should grab them while they're available. They're a treasure trove of awesome pieces. Camels! Ostriches! Turbans! The Prince's awesome hair-piece and dual katana holder (though he should have scimitars...)! Tamina's hair and white cape! The dagger of time! Golden domes! Assassin claws and spiked shoulder pauldrons! BUY SOME WHILE THEY'RE STILL HERE! (NOTE: LEGO isn't paying me to say this; I just don't want to see you miss out. Plus I liked the movie, personally.)

It's easy if you can actually find the minifigs in stores instead of just on LEGO's site. :P None of the stores we've been to sell them.

Anyway I'm just here to help urge all of you to buy a few sets that aren't Star Wars. Especially Prince of Persia, because those are amazing for all of those reasons Scorpy listed. I mean, they're just wonderful. :P

Of course, I have increasing fondness for the Pharaoh's Quest line and Kingdoms. As Scorpy said, here's hoping we get more animal-headed people from Pharaoh's Quest, because those jackal-headed Anubis guards are totally awesome.

Agreed! Seeing as I have almost zero income, PoP was the first (and so far only) line that I got every set from. The movie was great, and there were just way too many cool pieces! (I got the $50 set for $15, otherwise I may not have bothered with it..)

I also strongly agree with the first thing Wolfy said there.. I can't find them anywhere! It's really annoying.

Unfortunately I haven't gotten any new legos in quite a while, even though the current themes are some of the best they've had in a while! Dumb Xbox.. lol I just wish I could have it and not have to give up Legos for like five months! Plus I didn't get any of the HP that I originally was hoping to.. sigh. Dobby's pretty cool though.

I really need the new Mando pack to finish my KotOR Mando army. <_< Although they don't make great KotOR Mandolorians, I still don't have much...

May be off topic, but anyways...

If you are going for the KotoR Mando look I would recommend using Palpatine's guards (guys in red armor and capes). That plus some decals from Scorp and you can easily make OR mandos.

my newset set is a ninjago one. the ice dragon attack. its very nice since i've always wanted a dragon but a little pricey. the wings fold nicely but in the movie the ninjas sit on the dragons neck not there back. i've been working on a modification to make it look like it did in the movie.

After inspecting it, I found that if you bought four of these, you could put the together to make a sort of obelisk in the center. I only bought one, so my theory has yet to be proven.

yes, they do fit together if you buy four you can make an outpost tower with 4 ninjas

Thanks for the idea! I already have a few of them but some decals and more could do.

Yeah, I bought a ton of sets on clearance at Wal-Mart recently. I picked up the big red Atlantis sub (and some other little Atlantis sets), the Space Police pimp-mobile set with Brick Daddy (YESSS! Finally got it!), and a few others. Almost bought a Ben 10 set out of curiosity, but they weren't marked down enough. They do have some oddly interesting pieces in them...

Looking at this topic depresses me. I wish I still had the motivation and drive to build lego :( Some of those sets look FANTASTIC! For starters; SINCE WHEN DID LEGO DO MANDOLORIAN BATTLEPACKS?!?! That's awesome! And the Prince of Persia stuff is amazing, and the Egyptian stuff! I'm so regretting getting out of lego :( Let my suffering be a warning to anybody who's thinking about packing in with the small bricks; DO NOT DO IT! Because two years on and Lego will taunt you with amazing shiny things that you will want but have no money to buy. Sucks :( I'm in that awkward stage between turning 16 and moving out into the real world and actually settling down with an income I can rely on. Have I mentioned how much that sucks?

If only I could find some Space Police sets, their practically extinct in Alaska. I would like to get the Space Police Head Quarters, but only Target has it and it has not gone down in price <_< . As for the Ben 10 stuff you should try Fred Meyers before the month is out, but I don't know if Fred Meyers here and the Fred Meyers there have the same sales, but here most of the toys are half price plus 50% off on sale, but I think the Ben 10 stuff is JUNK.Never much cared for Bionicle ether, that was my older brothers thing.

EDIT: Just got two new sets, hey Scorp I got the LEGO beetle, Ninjago: Ninja Training Outpost, and Pharaoh's Quest: Scarab Attack. Oh and I got the ODST Sniper Drop Pod , not really a LEGO set, no not a LEGO set at all(mega blocks).

EDIT EDIT: Just got the ODST Heavy Weapons Specialist Drop Pod, still not a LEGO set.

OH MY GOD.

I just found out that the reason I've never seen the awesome City of Atlantis playset is because it's not available in the United States!

Dammit, LEGO, why do you want me to move to Europe so badly? :(

Does anyone know if this is eventually going to come out in the US? Or will I have to end up paying a ridiculous amount of shipping for it on Bricklink or elsewhere? <_<

According to Lego's latest toy fair exhibition, it's apparently coming out in August.

August? Wow. Quite a wait for a set that's already out in Europe, by the looks of it. I only found out it existed from the back of the instruction booklets in the few new Atlantis sets that were released here. Oh well.

Wow, a LEGO set that came out here in Aus before the yanks got it? This is quite unexpected.
