So, what do you think of 'em? This topic is for general discussion of Hero Factory in general, whether you love it or hate it, what sets you like, whatever.
I personally don't know what to think of it right now, pretty early to tell. But some of the sets look pretty cool. (And by some of the sets, I mean Von Nebula.)

In fact, this could be like a rebirth of Bionicle, back to its roots as "These are some guys, they do stuff. It's pretty cool but LOOK YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN BADASS ONES WITH THE PARTS." And it was awesome that way, me and my friends would have these epic duels and there would be spit-spraying sound effects and probably-bad-for-the-parts bashing them against each other until limbs came off.

Can't you do that with Bionicles anyways, like even with the recent ones? Forgive me for banding on the jumpwagon, but the figures in Bionicles is changing so much that these Hero Factory dudes could be their next evolution. I personally don't think they need to release a whole new line dedicated to awesome technics fighting, when it could be done with an already existing series.
Or I could just be misunderstanding your post completely of course. I do that sometimes.

They look a little different, but I'm not convinced.
Psst. I no longer come here anymore.

They just wanted to get away from the Bionicle line. The big thing about Bionicle is that it had a story, and that story needed to come to an end. (Not trying to sound negative toward Bionicle. Bionicle has been one of of my favourite things in the world, so nothing negative against it.)
In any case, Hero Factory is Lego's new way of continuing a highly popular line without it actually being that line. It makes sense, although I probably wouldn't have done things the same way.

I would have, but my character got Falcon punched by a were-pire. Wow, that was a weird sentence.
Oh God I'm posting my actual political views in the News & Politics topic all serious-like what the heck is wrong with me

Hero Factory sucks, just the name make me die inside, and that is the same title font, except the fancy "HERO" name, and I saw that comerical with the boy and the "Tentacle Monster"-thingy, and I just couldn't stop laughing and spitting at the boy on the screen; his acting was the worst I ever saw, his mouth, face and eyes and voice sounds like he has a dental brace in his mouth, or cause' he need one.
I would like BIONICLE story to stop (Greg says he will continue writing stories.... I don't know wether to belive this or not really), but the thing is they changed BIONICLE toy series too fast, and they should not create a new BIONICLE season/series, but keep producing all the series they already invented and published in the past!
I f...king NEED ALL THE SETS MAN!

But, that is how "nature" is.... awwww

Alright, so most of us probably know about the new Lego technic theme, Hero Factory. Basically, it's Bionicle. I would post some pics of the various sets, but I'm lazy.

I think they should've just continued calling the series 'Bionicle.' Plus, some of the new techno stuff is pretty lame.

Ok, I think we can all agree that the discontinuing of BIONICLE was a mistake and that Hero Factory is too young (like the new Chima line). BIONICLE had the better story line and better figures. This is all a matter of opinion.
