You know what? Sniper's Theme for Meet The Sniper is so much better than the one we have now if you ask me. It was unique, and awesome to listen to. I'm glad it's only his, because it keeps it fresh. If I had to keep hearing it, like the theme for everything else.

I can't get over how absolutely beautiful this theme is. Honestly.

A few more great ones...

Uncharted Theme
Drake's Elegy
Sir Francis Drake
Nate's Theme 2.0
Marco Polo
Reunion (gives me chills whenever I hear it)
Take That!

And I adore the credits remixes of the Uncharted games, especially The Road to Shambhala:
Road to Shambhala
El Dorado Megamix

Basically the entire soundtracks of both Uncharted games. If you haven't heard them, then you should. I'd link to all of my favorites, but honestly, there are just too many. I know I'd just link to the whole soundtracks.

Also here's some Prince of Persia...

I'd link to a bunch of Baldur's Gate tracks and stuff, but Thrawnie already covered most of them. :P

EDIT: AAH! How could I forget Among Thieves!? See? There are just too many.

Not for that Uncharted stuff. I dun leik it.

Uncharted was composed by Greg Edmonson who did Firefly and did an awesome job on both. Did you even hear the El Dorado Megamix?

But anyway, let's not start nitpicking each others' favorites. Keep things positive.

Okay, now, as for me

...

HOLY CRAP, Thrawnie already posted almost everything I was going to. I could probably expand on his list though...

Icewind Dale by Jeremy Soule
Main Theme - best part is near the end, which BioWare liked so much they used it for many Neverwinter Nights trailers instead of the actual NWN music (also by Jeremy Soule).

Dungeon Siege by Jeremy Soule
Main Theme (short but awesome - I'm basking in nostalgia just hearing it)
Fortress Kroth

I'd post the Morrowind theme, but hopefully you've already heard it. If not, search for it. It's beautiful.

Icewind Dale II by Inon Zur
Targos Theme (lovely)

Crysis, also by Inon Zur
First Light(very similar to IWD2 above, still lovely)
Strickland's March
Sometimes you Lose
Sometimes you Win
Phyrric Victory

And here are two you might not have heard BUT TOTALLY SHOULD:

Planescape Torment by Mark Morgan
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixv_jRI6VqY
One of the best themes of any RPG, IMO.

and finally...

Small Soldiers (PS1) by Michael Giacchino
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDuBhKs7bWo
(this game, albeit fun, had an undeservedly awesome soundtrack from a movie-grade composer, who also did the soundtrack for the 2009 Star Trek film - I highly recommend finding the full soundtrack and downloading it, if you like the way it sounds)

Anyways, and Spoony fans please don't kill me, I've fallen in love with FFX's fight music.

AHHHH-HAHAHAHA. [/awkward laugh]

Man, I used to think FFX was the shiz. In retrospect, I was wrong. And I still haven't beaten that game either. :P

You mean this one? Yeah, it's a remix of the old 'Magnum Force' theme from the movie of the same name with Clint Eastwood.

Dude, you played the old Small Soldiers game? Man, I never owned a playstation in those days, so I never got to play it. :( That and Small Soldiers is one of my indulgences.

To this day, this soundtrack is the foundation to all my music. Every level's music is beautiful, and works so perfectly together, to the point where I pop in the game just to hear the music. This was before you could download the ripped soundtrack though. Now that I have it, I feel great. I find myself listening to other music, and saying "Hey, you know what? That sounds like that song from Pandemonium".

There's also the second game:

In full honesty, the game took a trip towards acid town, and departs from the fantasy feel of the first game. And since the game is completely warped, the soundtrack is too. Don't get me wrong, it's still soul-grabbing, but almost in a haunting way, like listening to electrocution at the same time of techno, and aligning them both.

Oh, and this, too. It's a remix of the main theme, but it's still awesome (yes, I am a sucker for electric guitars). You have to get to about :38 before it really gets moving.

I found some Act of War music on Youtube :D

Every time I hear this I think of "Air strike commenced." or "Going direct to target." Few games I've played actually treat aircraft that you have to actually call in.

Ugh. Way Back Home. As much as I love the song, it seems to be the only one 3-Dog plays for me. It's so disappointing. Every. Single. Time.

I'm a bigger fan of Civilization by the Andrew Sisters. It's just got that classic feel, what with the women in sync and the subtle racism.
