Biography: Evan, originally named Dakari, was born into the dark-skinned tribes of the deep south, far from the reach of the Achaean Empire. When he was around twelve years old, he and he family were captured by slavers and taken across the sea to be sold in the Empire and chattle. During a particularly violent storm, Evan became so ill that it seemed that he would die. The slavers, when they discovered this, threw him overboard: it was a luck thing that he had not stayed on board, for later that night the ship was sunk with no survivors. The next morning, a half-dead Evan washed up on the shores of Karak du Vide, where he was found by a group of Inquisitors. He was nursed back to health and raised on the island, and was taught to speak and write the common tongue by a kindly old magic-user named Qwinby. When he was old enough, Dakari (who Qwinby had given the name Evan) joined the Inquisition. He faithfully served the Inquisiton for many years until recently, when a unfortunate incident rocked his faith in his order. A magical accident had lead to Qwinby being blamed, and the old man was sentenced to the Inquisiton's dungeons, where he quickly died of the cold and, as some whispered, by the strange experiments that the Inquisiton performs on some magic-users. The Inquisitor responsible for Qwinby's imprisonment and subsequent death has disappeared, and whenever he was not on duty, Evan had looked for him, hoping to confront his fellow Inquisitor about his old friend's death.

Biography: Borgia was born in the Iron ring of Corinaria and lived for most of his life as a street-rat. One day, he was found by some Templars and adopted into
the order. When he was old enough, he officially joined the order, and put paid to several Demon-kin and Cultists alike with his axe. However, his career was greatly tarnished when
he and another Templar, Adrianna, were sent to stop a trio of cultists from summoning a Demon of Wrath. Unfortunately, the Demon, who called itself Wrothschild, slaughtered Cultists and then attacked the Templars, mauling the left side of the Templars face and almost killing him. The Demon killed Adrianna and fled, left them for dead. Since that day, Malvolio has become a much bitterer and quieter man, as he was close to Adrianna, and carries his fallen love's blade as a token of what he has suffered. He is often found brooding, plotting to avenge himself on the Demon, though it will most likely cost him his life.

Biography:

Katrina's story of her life has changed every time she tells it: it has varied from her being raised by Elves, to being a former fighter in the Gladiator Arenas of the Empire. The truth is that she was born in a small Achaean town close to the Northern Border. During the 17 years that she lived in her hometown, she met Charon Velos, who she developed a strong bond with.

When she turned 18, she decided to visit her friend's hometown: an experience that would change her life forever. When she arrived in Charon's home, she discovered that not only was he gone, and his home had been burned to the ground, but there were rumors that he now possessed the ability to use Demonic Magic. Not believing these rumors, Katrina decided to find her friend and have him explain himself.

For the next five years, Katrina traveled the Empire, searching for her errant Friend. During her travels, she became a friend to the Elves, helped several villages fight against raiders and corrupt Imperial Forces, and gained the name "Arm-Breaker" from the Dvergar. However, during the seventh year of her searching, she gave up and returned to her home, depressed that she would most likely never see Charon again.

Recently, however, she heard rumors of Charon assisting the Inquisition in taking down a crazed Necromancer in the Northern City of Arrowfall. Full of fresh hope, Katrina set out for the town, and, after finding the rumors to be true, began to follow a fresh trail of sightings of Charon, the latest sighting rumored to be in the Imperial Town of Redfield. Whether or not she will find her friend in the city remains to be seen, though, with a group of other people searching the city for members of a mysterious organization called the Umbra Coven, a group that Charon, according to rumors, had joined, it might not take as long as she thinks...

Inventory:

Assassin’s Outfit

Crossbelts

Iron Chainmail

Iron Swords (6x)

Biography:

Bale was born as Baleric Spaelban to a small, unimportant family in the northern reaches of the Empire. In ancient times, the land the town was built on contained a monument sacred to the Gods of the North; when the Empire invaded the North, the monument was torn down and a Pantheon Temple was build over it. The land still retained its power from its younger days, even if the monument telling of this was long gone.

Bale was a lonely child, and was teased constantly because of his unnaturally white hair. His only comfort was his friend Qwinby, who was similarly teased. Both were able to survive their childhoods, and eventually decided on their careers. Qwinby became apprenticed to an Inquisitor, while Bale chose to become an adventurer; exploring the rock formations and old ruins near his hometown.

However, something happened that changed the two men’s lives forever: both discovered that they had been blessed – or, in this case, cursed – with the destiny of becoming Magi. Qwinby, a Wind Mage, fled from the Inquisition, only to be captured later, while Bale, after discovering that he was a powerful Psychic, hid in the ruins near his village. It was there that he discovered a Magi living there, who, seeing his potential, trained him to use his powers not only in mundane aspects, but for combat. Bale eventually became so powerful, that he could wield six swords simultaneously, earning him the nickname ‘Sixsword’.

Once again, unfortunately, Bale’s life was again changed for the worse. A group of Inquisitors, going off of leads given to them by the Villagers, invaded the ruins. The Magi was  slain by the Imperials, but Bale managed to escape.

Bale now works as a freelance assassin for various organizations. It is rumored that he has ties with the Hidden, the Umbra Coven, and a dozen more shady societies. Lately, he has taken up residence in a ruined Castle in the Jagged Edge, where his skills have come in handy dealing with the Armies of Chaos. Recently, he has taken interest in a particular drama encompassing the Skovgaard family, though with which side he stands with has yet to be seen.
