Spoiler

Welded hull.

M6 Heavy Tank V3.
Spoiler

Cast hull.

M6A2 Heavy Tank V4.
Spoiler

Different engine, thus different engine deck.

M6A2E1-1 Heavy Tank V2.
Spoiler

Designed solely to take out German Konigstiger heavy tanks. Turret ring diameter increased from 69 inches to 80 inches to accommodate a larger turret to mount the T5E1 105mm Gun, the only tank gun capable of taking out a Konigstiger frontally. Turret face was 7 inches thick, the same as the Konigstiger.

M6A2E1-2 Heavy Tank w/ Proposed Front Hull Redesign V2.
Spoiler

This was never actually built due to Dwight D. Eisenhower shooting down the proposal, but the front hull was to be redesigned and having 7 inches of armor to be able to shrug off hits.

Cheers.
