((NOTE TO CUSTOMERS: I'm sorry to report that my printer broke down while I was attempting to fill this week's batch of orders. It is currently undergoing maintenance, and hopefully will be back up and running on Monday. But for now, orders placed any time since approximately August 19 have been delayed and will be shipped out as soon as possible next week. My apologies... everything has been this way since college resumed, it seems. ))

Now for the update...

A while back, I added some Renaissance Guards and Civilians sticker packs to the Historic section of the decal shop. Well, I decided to finally put them to use in some new Assassin's Creed II minifigs. You will find the new pictures on this page of the website. Or, if you are too lazy to go there, here are the majority of them below:





Somehow the summer whipped by without me getting the chance to make any cool LEGO models, so I'm back to working on nothing but minifigs while at my last semester of college. If you're interested, here are the projects I currently have planned:

- Fallout
- Halo: Reach
- Lord of the Rings (MUCH improved over my old versions)
- Ancient Greece and Rome
- possibly more Mass Effect stuff

No idea when these will be done, but I will try to do as many of them as possible. Sadly, the Mass Effect minifigs haven't generated as much interest as I was expecting, so that one is lower on my list than I would like. I'm still enjoying the game though, along with the awesome Alpha Protocol, which I like so much that I may even have to make minifigs of it, despite its reportedly low popularity. Sometimes I end up really, really enjoying games that no one else seems to notice, kind of like Jade Empire. And I still need to pre-order Halo: Reach and Fallout: New Vegas (by Obsidian, YESSS!). So many games, so little recreation time...

Well I think the title said it all really. The contest winners have been announced, and emails are being sent out to the winners with their prize codes. The winner badges will be added later.

These decals have been in the shop for a while now, but I thought I would inform everyone that Ryan has posted photos of his new modern warfare decals on his site. Here's an example:

Also, in related shop news, I have fixed the broken items in the Alien Invasion Series 2 section. Let me know if there are any other broken links, and keep an eye out for new items soon!

First things first: the deadline for the Contest (in the previous post) has been extended to August 14th. Hoping to see some cool new entries as a result! There is still only one entry for the Wulfgard Keep, Nova Refuge Freighter, and Ravager Ship, so if you enter in one of those categories, that's a 50/50 chance to win the prize! This new deadline is final though; after this I'm announcing the winners. I may start the next contest before this one ends. We'll see.

Oh, one more thing: I've finally made an "intro" page for www.saber-scorpion.com. I may modify it some more later, but it looks kinda nice, I think. I still need to update a lot of the site to the new "desert" look, but it's a start.
